So I don't have internet and I don't see myself getting it anytime in the foreseeable future. I was wondering if there was any way to maybe put the update on a thumb drive and then run it on the 360. I would really love to have all the stuff that's been added since the original 360 release. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Don't know how exactly but there is a site that host's title updates for dl... Just google 360 title updates its the first one!!!
That sounds really sketchy and potentially unsafe.
The only legit way I know of is to just take your Xbox somewhere that has internet, say a friend or family members house, and just update it there. Other than that, everything else you try is at your own risk.

Can you set your mobile phone to be used as a WiFi Hotspot for your xBox 360?
Technically you can... My cousin has done it before, but not really a good thing to do depending on how you have your phone setup. That and also depends if it is a phone able to be used with the xbox. Windows phones Usually can, as long as the 360 is not the white box, which I am unsure will work correctly. With any model xbox that doesn't need an attachment for wireless should work.
Not an easy or should say not a simple thing to do in the long run....

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.
You can totally hook up your XBox 360 to your phone's internet via hotspot if you have wireless capabilities for your XBox. I do it all the time (I have an Android but have done it with an iPhone as well) This being said I HIGHLY advise against doing this unless you have unlimited data. If you have not hooked your XBox to the internet in a while you will have to download any XBox updates that have come out since your XBox was last connected to the internet before you can download the Minecraft update. The last time I had an XBox update happen via Hotspot it used up 1 gig of data on my phone, that was my entire limit at that time.
Yes, you can do this. Requires AT LEAST a computer, an Xbox 360 config'd flash drive, and a few programs + the update itself on ye' computer. (Getting the programs and update itself does require internet so ye' might wanna go to the library with a norm PC flash drive and get them there).
As for programs... There a good handful of programs used to read Xbox 360 flash drives. Two examples being Horizon and Modio. (I use Modio personally)... As for the TU (TU13 is the newest unless ye' wanna wait til TU14), there is a trusted site that specific stores every TU for every game. (I only used it once to get TU4 for Rock Band 3. FYI: This is why I know how to do this).
Once you have everything ready, simply plug the Xbox flash drive into ye' computer and run ye' Xbox program. It'll catch the flash drive and simply 'open folder' IN the program (Not via Windows). Once that, there's two ways of doing this. First way is, asking someone (Like myself) for the folders info that you'll need... The second way is, if you always have a TU of Minecraft then simply move that onto de' flash drive before beginning. (But I'm assuming ye' don't have any TUs for Minecraft thusly you would need to ask someone, like myself, for the folder info)...
As for the folder info, every Xbox file must be placed in a specific destination and each folder are actually numbers... They would be eight different numbers then (Name of folder)... Whatever is in the "(...)" actually doesn't matter... Simply just right-click and create new folder and simply put in the right 8 digit numbers. Open that and you would most likely have to redo it quite sometime, due to how everything is organized. (I can't remember the numbers for TU4 of Rock Band 3 but it was something along the lines of "No Profile" -> "Rock Band 3" -> "Downloads" -> "Title Updates" ; and like I said, the words don't matter. The numbers do!).
Once the folders are correct, then you can simply 'drag-and-drops' the TU file you have on ye' computer into that folder, saved and now ye' should have dat TU on ye' flash drive. From there, it is simply plug it into the Xbox, move the file, and play! (Also note that the TU file must be named correctly as well. Normally TUs are named something like "000B0000_00000000").
If ye' do any of this wrong, ye' will just get a corrupted file! Otherwise, it is totally safe to do.
Also, just to keep people off of me... I did this with TU4 of Rock Band 3 so I can play customs. (TU5 makes it impossible to play customs). And FYI: Customs are player-made charted songs for de' game! (Do ye' research if ye' wish to know more).
Oh. Just a fair warning though. Some TUs actually requires newer versions of the main Xbox update. Meaning, if ye' Xbox isn't fully updated, then ye' might have issues. (Though I think they are done with updating de' Xbox 360 so once ye' get the newest Xbox 360 update, ye' should be good. I do not know if ye' have de' update or not!).
