This is an updated list containing all confirmed and unconfirmed bugs for MCXB360E. This thread allows other users to list bugs they have experienced, offer and view solutions and workarounds.

THIS THREAD IS MODERATED HEAVILY: New posts which do not report new bugs, or add new details to previously reported bugs, will be removed. All posts about bugs in this first post will also be removed.
We are aware of a large number of sound issues as noted in the Spoiler Below.
The Thread is read Daily and all bugs will be noted - I'll mark each post when I have read it.
For those having issues with Ocelot taming see the following video
sound bugs:
35]· enderman teleport sound is only played when avoiding water, arrows or fishing rods, and not when teleporting to the player, away from the player or avoiding splash potions, ender pearls, eggs, fire charges and snowballs
35]· missing sound for water colliding with lava and redstone burning out
35]· missing sound for pressure plates being triggered
35]· missing sound for tnt being triggered
35]· missing sound for blazes shooting fire charges, fire charges being shot out of dispensers and using fire charges
35]· incorrect sound for big slimes jumping and landing
35]· missing sound for small and tiny slimes landing
35]· clicking on a iron door with an empty hand will sound as if it opened

particle bugs:
35]· shearing a mooshroom does not always have the "explosion" effect
35]· all potions have the same blue swirls when consumed instead of their correct colours
35]· sprinting on coloured wool, destroying melon stems, pumpkin stems, lily pads and end portals will create white particles
35]· lava dripping through a drop is darker than it should be
35]· missing explosion particles for enderdragon flying through blocks and destroying them
other bugs:
35]· transparent blocks cause a shadow
35]· maps in items frames do not show the location of other maps in items frames
35]· unable to place redstone on glowstone
35]· wooden pressure plates and buttons aren't activated by arrows
35]· wooden buttons have the same pulse as stone buttons
35]· placing blocks next to open wooden doors, fence gates and trapdoors will cause them to close
35]· after jumping, slimes and magma cubes will sometimes land twice or more
35]· looking at stairs will cause a "place" tooltip to appear. this will also replace the secondary tooltip (if it has one) of the current item in your hand, for example, blocking with a sword
35]· enchanting tables that get destroyed via activation of the end portal will cause a floating "ghost" book to appear in place of the portal
35]· tiny magma cubes push you around instead of damaging you
35]· small slimes push you around instead of damaging you
35]· eyes of ender don't lead you to the nearest end portal frame, and sometimes not even to the stronghold
35]· small gaps between blocks that allow you to see inside them, such as water/lava and torches. this also allows you, when positioned correctly, to see with full visibility when inside the block
35]· arrows and fire arrows sometimes flicker back and forth in the air after being fired
35]· ghast fireballs sometimes flicker back and forth in the air after being fired, or travel very slowly and disappear
35]· after killing the enderdragon, the dirt background during the end credits will randomly flicker

35]· flickering book on an enchanting table when pistons are triggered
35]· rotating a map in an item frame causes a shadow on the map
35]· placing two doors next to each other will cause one to be inverted

35]· extinguishing fire in creative breaks the block beneath it

35]· black borders around oak leaves, spruce leaves, birch leaves, iron doors, wooden doors, vines, lily pads, webs, glass panes, glass blocks, trapdoors, redstone, maps, xp orbs, iron bars, beds, cauldrons, all particles, all dropped 2d items, monster spawners, and fired arrows (also those listed below) when viewing from an angle or a distance. solution: create a seperate image for these textures and change the alpha channel to a colour that is next to the transparency or disable mipmapping for these objects
35]· chickens, skeletons, silverfish, all equipped armour, melon stems, pumpkin stems, nether wart, fire, ender crystals and brewing stands have "prongs" when viewing from an angle or a distance. solution: disable mipmapping for these objects
35]· spider and endermen heads glow from the top and sides like their eyes when viewing from an angle or a distance. solution: disable mipmapping for their eyes
35]· the enderdragon's feet glow purple like its eyes when viewing from an angle or a distance. solution: disable mipmapping for its eyes
35]· mobs teleporting around to compenstate for the spawn limits. this is most noticable with ghasts in the nether (having all 4 suddenly warp right in front of you and instantly start firing all the time is not fun)
35]· other players cannot see your drinking animation
35]· chests occasionally turn invisible
35]· in the tutorial world, the chest in the "miner's entrance" closes while you are still in the chest interface, and opens when you exit the interface
35]· unable to drink milk in creative mode to remove potion effects
35]· iron bars and glass panes attach to webs
35]· fire arrows do not trigger tnt
35]· held enchanted items appear bright white instead of purple
35]· the highest level enchantment is listed in the middle of the enchanting interface instead of at the bottom
35]· enchantment description on items and text inside the enchanting interface will sometimes go outside the box
35]· sometimes when attempting to join a multiplayer game, your xbox will crash half way during loading
35]· flame enchantments on bows are not applied instantly
35]· boats slowly float upwards when against land in water

35]· messages that appear on screen have gaps between them and overlap each other, also the text is not central with the background
35]· walking up a half slab into a solid block will bounce you downwards and glitch you through the block
35]· dark spots near lava, overhangs, villages etc
35]· ender pearls can be used to get you through walls and ceilings, and past the bedrock barrier in the nether
35]· blocks sometimes take a while to appear or disappear after placing/destroying them
35]· placing or destroying a block will sometimes allow you to see underground and through walls for a brief period
35]· no animation for placing lily pads
35]· no animation for placing or rotating items in an item frame
35]· no smooth lighting for water, paintings, doors, beds and extended pistons
35]· grass will go through blocks and be visible from the other side
35]· the dirt texture for a grass block and snow block is different
35]· the hitbox for a button changes before it is down and after it is up, instead of at the same time -- ?????

35]· getting stuck in transparent blocks will allow you to see underground and through walls
35]· after entering or leaving a portal, you can briefly see underground and through walls
35]· occasionally chunks will not load and allow you to see underground and through walls
35]· building on top of the end portal exit as high as it will go causes the enderdragon to sit on top of the world
35]· mobs look up instead of down at the player when they are right next to you. most noticable with endermen
35]· mobs bunched together in a tight area will phase through walls, also if you touch one you will get knocked back really far
35]· "no games found" not central with "join game" window
35]· half slabs over ice will still cause you to slide around
35]· light caused by burning blocks will stay there after the block have been burned
35]· falling off the end while invisible will cause you to fall indefinitely
35]· creating and destroying nether portals on bedrock will cause one to be generated inside the bedrock, which you can mine and fall into the void
35]· beds, minecarts and boats can exit you on the other side of a wall
35]· blocks can appear invisible until updating a block next to it or reloading the world
35]· zombie pigmen appear to burn in the overworld
35]· hostile zombie pigmen will return to neutral if hit with a ghast fireball

Redstone cannot be placed on upside down half slabs and upside stairs
Added in 1.3.1
Also placing upside stairs/slabs is very different from the PC. In Xbox you have to place it on the bottom of a block located above the location you want it. I assume this is a bug.
Working Correctly, This is is changed in a future update.
I had 3 boats break up while in use. They just disintegrated after about a minute or so, 1st one I hit a Lilly Pad, but the second and thirds were in open water.
I've encountered "leaking" wheat fields in villages: picture 1, and picture 2 (two different wheat fields). As you can see, the water in front of the fields doesn't appear to be normal water source blocks because it's too low. I've seen the same thing at other locations where water isn't supposed to flow or even be at all, but a water source is right next to it, seperated only by a single block.
Probably reported, but when trying to place redstone ontop of glowstone AND making a back and forth staircase using their unique property to not cut the line, although it doesn't appear to work and appears to cut the wire, it actually is just a visual bug and it does in fact work.
Do you have a picture of the setup?
Also I am unable to place redstone on upside down half slabs such as is possible on the pc version

And I am also unable to place upside down half slabs just by aiming at the top of an adjacent block as is the case in the pc version of the game, instead I have to place a block above, and then place the half slab below that block to achieve the desired affect.
On another note, animals are also acting rather strange when attacked. Sheep, pigs, and cows used to run away in more or less random directions after you attacked them, but now they very often run directly towards you as if trying to ram you. And at other times the will literally run in very small circles multiple times after being hit.

TU12 Bug:
Boats break instantly when they come in contact with land or the edge of the world if you are in the boat. If it floats into these things they do not break. Went through 5 boats in 2 minutes exploring this new map. Really frustrating, especially at night, due to the mobs being on shore and i just started this world.
I can confirm that boats are extremely fragile now - they'll break at the slightest contact. Even worse, they'll also break for no apparent reason at all. I had boats that broke while crossing a very large body of water without any lily pads, squids, or anything else in sight, and I've been on the lookout for those things to see if it was just some obstacle I had missed or not. Turns out, I hadn't - boat explosion for no reason whatsoever.
Additionally, I'm experiencing quite a bit of lag, or rather stuttering. It'll go away after some time, but it might take a few minutes. And I've also had the odd freeze where the game would hang for a few moments, making me think it had crashed for good, but then came back.

Is it a chicken or is it a duck? - It's a chuck, because dicken sounds stupid.
Pistons, when placed pointing downwards, have a strange graphical bug where one side of the piston points upwards (incorrectly), while the other three sides point downwards (correctly).
The hitboxes for the Cocoabeans pods are messed up when looking at them in specific locations. Messed up meaning that when standing in a certain location, you are not able to hit them.
The textures for the Cocoabeans pods have seems in the corners. Seems meaning that you are able to look through them when looking at the corners.
(Not sure if it's a bug) Tamed Ocelots (Cats) don't sit on Beds, activated Furnaces and Chests for me. I have tamed 10 cats, put them in a small room with lots of Chests, active Furnaces and Beds, and not one of them sat on anything. No, the Cats were not in the sitting position, which prevents them from doing that.
Sound bug: The small Slimes don't make any sounds, also the Cats don't make the hissing sound (at least, I have never heard them hiss yet).
Slimes have a sound...I am refering to the small ones. It is just not high enough. Almost sounds like my own footsteps for some reason...>< so that actually I think needs fixing...
I don't think the cats were suppose to do exactly what the pc does.. at least not yet. I mean at first what you are mentioning; cats sitting on certain things, was actually a problem the pc had for a while because you could not access chests while they were on them & was difficult to shu them away with out them going back to the exact same chest. Now a days though it was improved at least.
Cats I don't think ever truly hissed in the game...>< so confused by that one. The only thing that hisses are creepers; speaking of which is what cats are intended for in the first place...
What I personally have noticed so far in the game is a bunch of Lighting glitches/bugs, what ever you would like to call them. I am sure they were there even before the update, but since the upside down stuff and the new lamp came in; it all is a bit more noticeable.
Upside down slabs will have that shadow lighting bug even with a torch right under it. Just like the regular slabs do when too many blocks are placed next to them. For slabs just 2 or more need to be to either side in order for that glitch to happen; the upside down ones. The regular ones you would need probably 2-4 running along a wall of blocks with block at each end, and full block above them. It is that half block gap that is the lighting glitch/bug. As it is darkened.
I can not say much about the lamps as someone else mentioned that in another post and I have yet to confirm that myself. But I do believe them, as there are still quite a few lighting issues that need to be resolved or at least ironed out a little.

When villages are generated, sometimes the lava at the blacksmith shop and the water from wheat farms leak through the walls. This ends up setting the village on fire and flooding the area.
Well at least you guys can find ocelots. My glitch though is with villagers. I had to have had at least 35 villagers trying to get into two different buildings. Probably 15 for the small one and 20 for the large one. I had to get rid of them with lava, because I kept using up my swords and getting killed by iron golems. The kept trying to get into the house and all you heard was the doors shut and open over and over, but noone could fit in the house since it was full.
Had the doors in the village been destroyed by a Zombie Siege?
One out of my three worlds won't load anymore. It's probably corrupted.
It worked fine before the update. Now the Xbox just freezes upon loading.
Bugs I have found:
- A part of the fence is invisible when one side is connected to a fence and the other is connected to a block one space behind or in front of the said fence block. You can only see the invisible part in a certain angle.
- Split-screen play has terrible frame rate problems. This happens when breaking/placing blocks at a fast rate. Occasionally happens in single player.
- Minecart fix seems to be too slow(?) Maybe I was just used to fast minecarts, but the new fix seemed to make the minecarts way too slow. I have played the PC version before and it seems to be faster than the xbox version.
- The sound plays twice when opening fence gates, doors, etc. when opening it with an open hand. This glitch has been around since 1.8 and I don't know why this has not been fixed yet.
- Several lighting bugs. The lighting bug where it is pitch black in some areas shows it's return from the PC version. Sometimes when breaking glowstone, redstone lamps, or torches, the physical block is gone, but the light does not disappear.
I have found an odd graphic glitch with water. It seems to occur when you are next flowing water on or about the level of a partial block.
When next to the water, everything appears as if you were underwater, even when you're not. Tested in creative mode, so I can't say if you start to drown or not.

To get there, fly to the general X/Z coords and look for a small hill with a large hole through it. At the bottom of this hill is a cave entranc. Follow the cave down and to the left and you will eventually come to a water at the coordinates given. Fly up and down in the Y axis at the specied x/z. Also the effect occurs at X:-25 Z:-66 Y:50
ive noticed sometimes the apples from trees now appear randomly without having to break the leaf block. Also noticed that enchanting tables have a graphical glitch on the book. (example: load up the tu12 tutorial world and youll see what i mean.

3.) ender eyes sound is incorrect
4.) still no sound for water and obsidian colliding.

Implemented in 1.9 pre-release 3 - Not added to our version though. Anvils will be added to a later version to allow for repairs.

Lighting bug when making an enclosed mob spawner. I made a mob spawner that is 23 blocks wide, 23 blocks long, and 16 blocks high. It is located at the height of 220. Besides the bottom it is completely closed off. The bottom has a 3 by 3 section going 21 blocks down with no opening. There are sections in my mob spawner that are still lit up.
I'll look into this
When using an upside down piston it showed the pushing platform on the top and the bottom of the piston.

I also noticed when mining straight down that it was lagging and I could mine 2-3 blocks before dropping to the next unmined block.
On taming Ocelots (or the lack thereof): can you tell if you are at a mob limit? I got a message about having to many cows,pigs,chickens and afterwards I was not able to feed any fish to the ocelots I tried to catch
I have some bugs. My biome changed (again) to rain. The snow biome stayed though, but it rains instead of snows. The grass, trees, and lighting is all the same for the snow biome.
This has happened with multiple Updates Unfortunately.
Also when the rain hits the ground it makes no noise or effect.
Is this in the world with the Biome Changes?
When I sprint in fly mode and touch the ground, the block im running on makes no sound.
I'll look into this
And the stupid new minecart speed. It's annoying as crap.
Yes ive also noticed that rain sounds now seem to be bugged too. I hope that when/if tu13 is a bug fix that they look at some of these sound issues. Some of these have been mentioned time and time again and for some reason ignored. I know ive been mentioning the ender eye/xp orb sound issues since tu9 now as have others. Throwing an eye sounds like a kiss on the cheek from grandma. lol.

When using an upside down piston it showed the pushing platform on the top and the bottom of the piston.

I also noticed when mining straight down that it was lagging and I could mine 2-3 blocks before dropping to the next unmined block.

This has happened with multiple Updates Unfortunately.
Also when the rain hits the ground it makes no noise or effect.
Is this in the world with the Biome Changes?
When I sprint in fly mode and touch the ground, the block im running on makes no sound.

And the stupid new minecart speed. It's annoying as crap.
