Cry because my creative house was built with glowstone in mind instead of redstone lamps for lighting.
Build a new, more fabulous creative house with 40 empty rooms because I ran out of ideas and bedrooms got old after the first 15.
Build a multilevel pig parking garage.
Fight an iron golem with my diamond sword and lose.
Get bored and wait for TU14.
Based on what we know will be in the update, what's the first thing you will do?
Build a sweet tree house in a jungle
Tame an ocelot just to make some creepers squirm
Make 3729498234 COOKIES!
Create an Iron Golem, name him Frank, watch him defend my honor
Create an Iron Golem and a Snow Golem, kill the Snow Golem because the Iron Golems are cooler
Using a texture pack immediately
What's TU12?

Personally, I'm definitely building an awesome house made of jungle wood because I love the texture of it. I'm excited for everything about TU12. I've always wanted an Iron Golem named Frank.
I am going to recreate my favorite seed (currently fully explored) to check the new biome boundaries. Then I'm going to try out a few 'block changer' methods to see if any still work in TU12. If I find one that works, I'm going to change some leaf blocks to jungle leaf blocks, break them until I get saplings, and plant a jungle where one should be. This way I can not only get jungle trees (and grow cocoa if I want), but I should also be able to legitimately spawn ocelots. Not to mention i can look at whether or not it would be feasible to 'move' deserts/taiga/snowy plains as appropriate, not to mention see if I can get a mushroom biome. In theory, I think digging up grass in an area marked as a mushroom biome and replacing it as dirt could work? Not sure if any of the block changers I've seen can output mycelium blocks or not . . .

Me and my friend live in a mushroom biome! And I try to replace the blocks with regular dirt all the time to plant trees, literally just changes back. So find some green grass and work from there.
Even so the worlds are much smaller and the seeds change with every update. So even if you do put the seed in, it will vary with each update.
the seeds dont change with each update they are based on the world generator. the coding really changes very little. its just transposed from java to c++ they didn't really change how the generators work its just numerical block codes crunched by the generator itself . all the seeds work as they should based on which generator is currently being implemented. so if the seed hes referring to works on the ANVIL generator(i believe that's what its called) than it should work just fine. now if he'll get the jungle he wants i'm not sure. depends on where it is in the map i guess.
also. very few of those are actual options. except frank, ill definitely capture an iron golem and name him frank. lol.
but we probably wont get texture packs right off the bat. we arent sure yet. and they havent really given us any hints about that. we just know they are adding texture pack support.
ll probably keep working on my steampunk world though and try out the upside down stairs, slabs, jungle wood and of course the gorgeous redstone lamps.
ill also be using some of the new redstone features like upside down slabs with redstone. im gonna try and compact some circuits ive been working on.
Set my xbox on fire because I bought minecraft on xbox. Good thing I didn't do something stupid like that.
PC user?
why is it stupid to buy it for xbox. i love the game. the controller is awesome. ive played the pc version before. and wasnt impressed to be honest. not to say it isnt great but as far as the core game its very similar. so calling people stupid for playing the xbox is like saying anyone who has minecraft is stupid.

Because minecraft is retarded enough without throwing in the xbox 8 year olds in.

I'm assuming you mean block transmuter because a block swapper something totally different.
Snap my controller in half because something I was expecting was left out.
Or, get really drunk and listen to "Welcome to the Jungle' while doing absolutely nothing of value trying to generate a map I like.
Or, spend the next x months rebuilding everything I've done so far with the new blocks. Probably the second one.
I'm pretty excited though, because all the updates so far were aimed heavily at the multiplayer aspect but this one has a lot for just plain old building.

also im not 8. ive yet to meet anyone in game under the age of 14. and most of the people ive crafted with are over 20.
anyone else notice the irony of him calling something retarded in the same sentence, and i use the term "sentence" lightly, he said "without letting in the xbox 8 year olds in" you only need one of those "in"s there son. also there's a certain amount of irony when you act like an 8 year old bashing 8 year olds...
the few kids, and i consider 14-19 to be kids still, have been ok. usually well mannered. a few rotten apples but all in all I've only been griefed once, only deleted one person due to his lack of skill and tact in chat. and only ever had to remove two people from my world by kicking them. both of them at the same time. in fact the worst experience I've had was with a 20 something who was part of a gaming clan i was in. and in a way his lack of skill and horrid build quality was griefing ad it made gaming with him one of the worst experiences Ive ever had... that was once.
also you d know you dont have to play online. and there are host options. so you can turn trust players of mute people .things like that. you know. things that require common sense. i guess those things hadn't dawned on you though.
that's what im saying bro, if you think minecraft is retarded then why be in the minecraft forums.

I actually run into quite a few younger kids and I'm 22. Me and my friend played with an eleven and twelve year old yesterday but they were actually quite well mannered hahaha. You will do that at times, the game is rated 10+. I don't mind it as long as they are not begging and stuff.
But really why hate on minecraft on a minecraft forum? He must like the violence he's asking for in return. Nice fetish you have there homie.
Yes I love this update for being so creeper friendly haha. Ocelots scare them, iron golems will actually kill them. Finally. I just wish they would follow you around like a dog or cat would.
Haha story of my life.

Start a thread called "Possible Changes/Release Date for TU13!"
Wonder where it all went wrong.

Yes. Thank you, though; the terminology does get hard to follow at times . . .
