I swear I saw what looked like a fire charge, but purple instead of red/orange. and I'm sure I heard explosions to back this up. Did anyone see this???

I saw it too! I guess it can shoot the equivalent of a ghast's fire charge, breathe ender acid (still don't know what that does, maybe wither effect?), and ram you for it's attacks.
I was relieved to see a good amount of Endermen in The End as well. I can still make an Endermen farm.
I'm so insanely stoked that there is more than 1 attack on the xbox. We have 3 and the cages. I wish she would have shown us the death of the dragon.. I wish we could actually hear C418's End music. Cause the nether music sounded epic.
The stream doesn't seem to be working for me or my friend, is it still going on?
No it was kind of exclusive. Someone may have recorded it but I don't know. It's really great to see that they're bringing a lot already and what seems to be some new twists of its own :).

Aye. It looks like fighting the Ender Dragon is going to be much more challenging
Not as challenging when your going to build pillar around the spot the Ender dragon attacks, protection IV diamond armor, A Sharpness IV Diamond Sword, and a Power I Punch I Flame I Power IV bow. Oh, I can already feel it's death.
Haven't fought the dragon on Xbox yet, and correct me if i am wrong, but someone said something about there being an egg after you defeat the ender dragon? I read that on a youtube video, so don't count on it's reliability

Yes there is an egg, its the only thing you get besides xp from beating the dragon, and you need a piston to push it to get it to drop the pick-up as well.

She even pointed it out in one instance. And it couldn't have been the ghasts because they aren't automatically aggressive in creative mode.

Yes, it does. It shoots its version of a fire charge much like a Ghast does except its purple and not on fire.
