I've been reporting lots of glitches in the bug report thread for TU11, & my list of glitches keeps getting longer & longer. It's really annoying because these glitches sometimes interfere w/ what I make & they cause lots of ridiculous deaths for me. A couple examples of the most ridiculous deaths I've had are a creeper walking through a wall to kill me & the HUD lagging (the hunger meter is part of the HUD), making me think I had more health than I really had, resulting in me being reckless & dying. The game has been a mess in terms of how glitchy it is for the last few updates, at least from my experiences anyways. This is the total list of glitches I've noticed in TU11:
Game crashes, lag, & FPS drops:
Game sometimes crashes when loading a world saved within spawning range of a mob spawner. It doesn't prevent you from accessing the world, but it makes it harder.
Game crashes when loading your world on rare occassion.
Game sometimes crashes when a creeper blows up.
Game lags a lot, especially when fighting multiple mobs, or in the Nether. FPS drops sometimes as well when this happens.
The HUD (incudes items, health meter, hunger meter, etc.) lags on rare occassion, especially in the Nether.
Blocks mined underwater sometimes reappear after being mined for several seconds.
Game sometimes drops to 0 FPS after a ghast fireball explodes for a second or two.
Mobs sometimes go through walls. It generally happens when you get out of bed after sleeping, or with walls recently moved into place by pistons.
Arrows sometimes rebound off of mobs. Arrows that aren't charged completely are more prone to this.
Arrows fired at low trajectories without a complete charge over the edge of a block hit the person firing them.
Wolves attack their owners when they shoot themselves. The previous glitch listed does not make this issue any better.
Creepers move too fast when trying to kill you.
If you hit an enderman in the head & don't move, it won't attack.
When fighting silverfish, silverfish blocks from far away will convert into silverfish that despawn instantly.
If there's too many silverfish blocks nearby, hardly any will convert into silverfish.
Wooden buttons function like stone buttons.
TNT won't detonate unless there is fire in your world.
When the game lags, holes will appear in falling lava, & sometimes the lava in these holes will spread out before the hole is filled as if it collided w/ a block.
Lava spreads fire too far horizontally (only seems to affect leaves + vines) & 1 block less upward.
When connecting 10 or more redstone repeaters in certain circuits they give random on / off signals when they display & should give out a solid on signal.
You can't always pick up minecarts & paintings after mining them.
After sleeping in a bed in certain layouts, you wake up stuck inside it forcing you to break it, resetting your spawn despite there being room to get out.
Fire charges fired at non-opaque blocks don't ignite.
Enderpearls seem to be more affected by gravity than they are in the PC version.
Redstone updates 1 redstone tick late over chunk boundaries sometimes.
Rapid pulsers & redstone clocks freeze sometimes, especially the former.
Mining doors over chunk boundries doesn't work; it just opens / closes rapidly.
Leaves look like they cut off redstone when they don't & shouldn't.
Chests & signs in certain chunks sometimes become invisible. You can still use them & see their hitboxes, but that's it. Exiting the world & reloading it fixes this.
Doors sometimes look closed & prevent you from passing through them when they're open shortly after loading a world. You can hit through them.
The upper half of a door sometimes opens late. It also can appear on the opposite half of the block it occupies.
Lava sometimes displays incorrectly.
The water texture doesn't always connect as water flows down a hillside, making it look broken apart.
Certain places appear dark, especially in newly generated worlds.
When mining beds & half slabs, the top appears bright.
Mobs don't always play their sounds on rare occasion (creepers don't hiss, zombies don't moan, etc.)
Endermen don't play the teleporting sound, except when avoiding rain.
Enchanted tools don't play the breaking sound.
Sometimes the door opening / closing sound plays 3 times instead of once.
A lot more sound glitches I'm not listing.
Certain worlds delete themselves when renamed. The only way to keep them is to copy a backup from another storage device.
When switching to survival mode from creative mode, you may be invulnerable to certain types of damage (fall damage, being lit from fire charges, etc.). The only solution to this is to return to the dashboard & reload Minecraft.
You can get snagged on blocks when sprinting, using enderpearls, flying in creative mode, or swimming, sometimes resulting in drowning w/ the latter. You can also get stuck in a block or take suffocation damage w/ the former. Swiftness II potions make this extremely common.
Sprint doesn't always initialize, especially after taking damage, when going up half slabs, or when the game lags.
Sneaking sometimes fails to prevent you from falling at random times (especially common on slabs + stairs).
When saving near a vine / fence, you'll spawn at the top of it when reentering the world.
Does anyone else feel like Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition could use some bug fixes in TU12?
