We all know that Minecraft will be released for Xbox one, but what will happen to the 360 version? Will it keep updating? I don't plan on getting the xbox one but I still want to play a Minecraft that is still updating.

I heard that both Xbox360 and MCX360 will continue to have support for some time. I imagine that MCX360 will continue having support long after Microsoft stops making Xbox 360 games.

I have significant doubts. I suspect we will see one, maybe two, more updates to MCXBLA360 and then devleopment on it will be shelved .

I hope that the 360 will still have updates because I am a longtime minecraft player and I play it on all the versions and I hope that all of them will keep on having updates.

I think that it will update until it dies with Xbox 360 in estimated 3-4 years

Let's hope Xbox 360 gets support for 6 more years!

I read somewhere that MS has stated they want to keep the 360 active until like 2017. So we're looking at maybe 6 more years of 360 support. I doubt 4J will keep the 360 edition supported for that long.

As long as they support it for another year, I'm good. As I'm waiting a bit for the xbox one.
