Hey guys. I need some help. I made a world on tu8 a couple days ago right before they announced tu9's release date. I found a stronghold mining and explored it a little only to find that it it cut in half by a ravine. This ravine makes it even more complicated than it usually is. I've searched 4 hours and can not find an ender portal ANYWHERE. i searched on creative mode and even used tnt. I used the seed on the tu9 update and found the end portal there, could copying those coordinates help at all? Could the ravine have something to do with it? Is there other strongholds? if so how do i find them? Or am i SOL?
If there's an End Portal in your world the eyes of Ender should fly in their direction.
It would be best to throw them above ground because they tend to fly upwards too. So once you find a spot where they don't fly far or land in the same spot that'll be about where your portal is.

The eye of ender does lead to the stronghold, but it doesn't show me where the ender portal is at all.
This should work. If you go to those same coordinates on your TU9 world it should be there, because end portals were generated as of TU8 (we just couldn't activate them, obviously). As far as I know it should be in the same spot.
