While playing I can't see my cursor in the inventory menu. Does anyone else have this problem? In addition, while scrolling through the hotbar it moves too fast. I want to use the item in the next slot yet it suddenly goes beyond it. Playing this game edition is difficult.
I can see my mouse cursor in inventory, no problem.
I also have no problem scrolling too fast in the hotbar.
Have you tried lowering the number of lines your mouse scrolls per click of the mouse wheel?
What mouse are you using?
This is the first I've heard of this particular problem. My guess is it has something to do with your mouse's settings.
I feel your pain with this issue. Below is what I tried and what finally worked for me.
Troubleshooting performed:
-- Uninstalled the Win10 App, rebooted and reinstalled the App. Hey.. go big or go home... No dice.
-- Went in the game and reset all keybindings to default.
-- Right Clicked Start > System > Advanced System Settings > Performance Settings > Unchecked Smooth-Scroll List Boxes
-- Control Panel > Mouse Properties > Wheel > Set to scroll only one line at a time, also messed with the horizontal to one too..
-- Finally I got to Logitech SetPoint...
The Fix:
I remembered that I had recently updated my drivers for my mouse, which included installing Logitech Setpoint. Setpoint had a feature in its software that "Enabled Smooth Scrolling". Once i unchecked this box, it fixed my issue!
It is a very good chance that windows automatically updated your drivers and that is what the issue is. I didn't think it was going to be a system issue, only a Minecraft issue since it only affected that game, but I was wrong!

I have recently solved this same issue on my PC.

I've also got no cursor, and scrolling doesn't work at all in full screen.
