I know they added Slime blocks in the new patch and can normally be found in slime chunks, most tutorials show using coordinates to find slime chunks and I was wondering if there was any good way to find slime blocks since there isn't a way to see coordinates. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
There's a YouTube video that was done by "MonkeyFarm" quite a while ago that shows how to find a slime chunk without using something like Chunkbase to look it up. This might help, but since we don't have coordinates yet we wouldn't be able to dig out an exact chunk since we couldn't tell where the chunk starts or ends. At best, this method will give you a rough idea of where slimes spawn underground so that you could dig out a large area and just whack at them when they do spawn. I don't think we'd be able to create an effective farm without knowing the exact coordinates of the slime chunk.
The tutorials you're watching (Youtube?) are for the java (PC, or regular) version of MC. Coordinates are not in Win10 Edition yet, that's why it's confusing.
