I personally think that Minecraft for the Next Gen consoles (PS4, XO) are way better than PC. Many of you probably disagree, and I understand that. But the things I mention in the title is all that is missing to an awesome and better Minecraft for PS4/XO. Still don't agree, well, let me give you the rundown of why console MC is better than PC MC. Click the spoiler below to see why.
NO LAG - Depending on your computer, you will either lag, or get 420+ FPS with Sphax PureBDCraft 512x with shaders and 1 ping. On PS4/XO, there is none of that. Every PS4/XO is the same, so the game runs a lot smoother.
1080p 60FPS - No matter how much TNT you blow up, you'll still get 60FPS. Once again, Minecraft on PS4/XO doesn't need to consider those with weak computers, it does as much as the PS4/XO allows them to do, and in case you didn't now, the next gen consoles allows for a LOT to happen.
EASY CRAFTING - Some may disagree that this is an advantage, but rather a disadvantage. Yes, it does take away from learning, but it just makes everything easier. We were all noobs at some point, and we had to learn ourselves, the hard way. As someone to knows almost everything there is to know about Minecraft, it's good to know I don't need to remember a single recipe
WORLD BORDER - Some of you may highly disagree with this, but personally, I like having the borders. Even though it calls for less exploring, I still think it can help. I dunno, I just like having world borders that are basically impossible to find.
CREATING MULTIPLAYER GAMES ARE SOOOOO EASY - On PC, you need to either set up a LAN server with the person at your house, or create your little server yourself with whitelist. All you and your friends need is Plus/Live, and you can just join someone's MC game. Easy as that.
CONTROLS - This is a very personal one. I personally prefer the controls on the next gen controllers than on PC.
WELL... THEY'RE NEXT GEN CONSOLES... - Basically, you can just lay back on the couch as comfortable as you want, while on PC you need to sit on a chair until you're done. "What if I have a laptop?" Unless the laptop is Alienware, it will barely run Minecraft at 30FPS to begin with. (Very debatable, this is personal experience).
RESOURCE PACKS
No offense Mojang, but I personally think the provided resource packs for the PS4/XO are really bad. I'm more of a HD resource pack kind of guy. So I was thinking, why not let the community upload resource packs? And, yes, I know Minecraft has a set amount of data, and that's were my Cloud Saving idea comes in. But that's for later. I don't care how you implement this if you consider this idea. You could make it so that way you check the resource packs for viruses or make sure that they're not copies, etc. before they can be released as a community pack. I know coding for a console is a LOT harder than doing it for PC, but I dunno. If anything though, we NEED Sphax PureBDCraft in MC.
CLOUD SAVING
Okay, so I know that games have a limit for how much space they take up on consoles, and this is where the cloud comes in. When downloading Minecraft for your PS4/XO, it will ask you if you want to get the Cloud Version or the regular version of Minecraft. The Cloud Version of MC is saved onto, well, the Cloud. It will be linked to your PSN/LIVE account in case you ever need a recovery, etc. Because I believe the Cloud could be unlimited, we could have infinite worlds along with resource packs in 512x. If anything, I really hope this could be a thing. I believe the Cloud on PS4 is limited, but I think we can have the Cloud Version on the PS4 as a memory extension.
SERVERS
I don't really care about servers for consoles, but it could mean parkour servers, hunger game servers, etc. I think servers would be nice, although 8 players are max. There could also be private servers that only your friends could play on either using a whitelist, or a special password. This would be nice if your friend wants to play the world you started, but only you have the save. This could be AWESOME!
Anyways, I hope you guys agree with this, and if you guys, the MC Community, could reach this out to Microsoft, Sony, 4J Studios, and of course, Mojang, that would be AWESOME!! Please make sure to answer the poll above, and have a nice day!
Don't forget to leave ideas. Any good ideas will be added to the thread, with all credit for the idea given to you.
