When a Dispenser is equipped with a water bucket and triggered multiple times (via delayed sticky piston circuit), every 5-10 mins or so a new water source appears after the original source is returned to the bucket and remains there until physically removed. This is in a mob farm set up about 50 units up with four spawning pads, one water dispenser a piece.
Weird thing is, two of the pads never fail and just the other half of the farm spawns new water sources. for the life of me I cannot see why as ive spent hours making sure all 4 are completely the same (size/build/redstone delay....)
Any update or work around on #2 yet? I may have some information that helps.

this has been posted about many times 4j knows and is trying to fix it .
I'be been having an issue with Blaze spawning around their spawners in this patch. I'm playing on a friend's world that was created on patch 1.14 and while constructing a Blaze grinder, they wouldn't spawn around the spawner at all. They are spawning elsewhere in the fortress, though. I've tested this on other worlds made in this patch and it occurs in those worlds too, though worlds created before 1.14 are working fine.
why arnt witches on the leaderboards? or for that matter wither skeletons, blazes, magma cubes its like the nether or new mobs is totally exclude from the leaderboards. when they are the rarest and would mean more then killing tons of zombies from a spawner cage. I mean some one having tons of wither skeletons or ghasts shows alot of hard work . Ugh still no word at all from 4j steve on what he found out from my world about the leaderboards or laggy game play. im thinking of making a new account AGAIN and just starting over for the 5th time........... just to TRY to be on the leaderboard and be able to KEEP my name there with out gettign bumped off bc my leaderboard is locked up or bc some hacker gets to put his name on there with a 0 0 0 score . i mean its not like 4j does not know they hackers are on there. all u have to do is look at the top 10's its like they dont care at all .and if u want to win sure cheat bc no one cares to stop it .. I and many others gave MANY good ideas on how to be able to better serve the customers. they ignore them all and jsut keep on posting how many millions copys of the game they sold . twitter is just mostly them saying look how much money were making stay tuned for when we get around to helping u guys or keeping our word. maybe soon u guys can get an update. and since microsoft bought the game all ive seen is how much xbox ppl get updates and skin packs we will never see. like the simpsons for example. they had it for a while. the birthday pack and even the skyrim we got way later then they did.
any one else tired of 4j just seeming like they dont give a crap at all ? they check in on here every month or so to reply to 2 or 3 select ppl and the rest sorry about ur luck maybe in a month ill reply to your concern . I been saying something about the leaderboard
since one week after the game came out. still they have no clue whats causing it. i mean give me a break do ur jobs already and figure it out and if u cant. HIRE SOME ONE WHO CAN !!!!. its not like there isnt enough money coming in .

It happened to me yesterday! I was underground and used a water bucket to turn some lava into obsidian. When i picked the source block that i had originally placed i found another had spawned about 3 blocks from my feet.
I can't find a cause or correlation either. It jus seems to be random.

its not the only way I have over a 100000 kills on my leaderboards u can use trap doors instead. plus i dont use trap doors at all on a redstoneless witch hut farm it spawns 2 every 10 seconds and got a chest of gun powder in a day so there is other ways
by using a system with constant water flow u never add or subtract water so it never changes .
And if thats not enough gunpowder an afk able farm is the way to go bc all u have to do is set it up and then keep in on all day over night or for a week there is always a way .
Anyone still got problems with de-spawning horses?
I got 7 tamed horses, one donkey and one mule in a fenced flat area, all tied to a pole with no saddle/armour, the donkeys got chests.
Suddenly all horses were gone and the donkeys were running free (maybe a rope problem?) Happened the 2nd time in one week...
i have lost some too its the rope not the horse. when u leave the area and come back the rope breaks is on the ground unless u go pick it up it despawns and they simply walk away.if u wall them off in a stable or even a dirt house they will never despawn .
there is a bug going on now with the copy save function it just crashes when trying to load the copied save file. every time. I know i seen some one else mention something along those lines as well a while ago .

I just started my fourth account bc i was tired of waiting for them to reply i even sent them my world to "debug on their end" no word yet at all .
All day everyday. Started day one PS3. Been on the same map since. Even transferred over to ps4. Stats froze on PS3 and was fixed after a update. But that took months. Hoping this next update fixes it.

its real doubtful they have been looking into it for months and have no clue at all what could cause it so i wouldn't get your hopes up . I would even be willing to pay to have it looked into or to be able to transfer a world to a different user like you can on ps3. i had my ps4 on all day every day too maybe thats a reason ?
I really hope they find out the cause and it gets fixed. when I first started, it was on PS3 digital version, then when I got my PS4 in November, I played it on there, but thus time on disc as it came with every bundle here, so I thought I may as well use that. I'm pretty sure my leaderboard was fine on PS3, for a while anyway as I've definitely killed more than 60 zombies, lol.
personal update: I decided to randomly check and there has been movement On my leaderboard for the first time in who knows how long. Only on farming and movement though.... i wonder what's causing this. Very confusing tbh.
the more we speak up and the more we talk to 4j and 4j steve about it the more seriously they will take it. bottom line is they wont look into a problem or take it seriously unless they feel they have to and if only a few select ppl speak up about it to them who cares its a few ppl out of a million and wont affect sales. because they could figure it out. there are many ppl out there smart enough code breakers hackers professional code workers who COULD figure it out if 4j cant or if they wont press on mojang about it. all it would take is them spending the time on it to investigate the servers and the correlation between the leaderboards. and if that does not work PAYING MONEY to hire some one who CAN figure it out. there is always some one smarter who can handle it they just might charge more for their services.
There are many ways they could actually saves money by saving time and hassle by doing the right thing which might cost money NOW but will fix problems LATER.
for example hiring ppl who use massive redstone or huge worlds or ppl who farm all mobs for leaderboards. to have constant updates from them on the worlds BEFORE the main public gets the release of the update. beta testers.
which is essentaly what we all are and why every one gets so frustrated. they release the game with problems and then we have to tell them where the problem is instead of them figuring it out way way way before they release the game or the NEW updates. all of this could be prevented by hard work and money .With this method of doing thigns we will all be in a constant loop of problems and us telling them what they are ( doing their job) and then them trying to fix them . only to repeat the cycle. even the computer version which is way ahead of us has bugs and ppl reporting them. they need better employers who can figure these things out. HIRE SOME PPL FROM ROCKSTAR or and one of the many many company's out there who make millions and spend millions in development , not 50 guys working in an office to give support to millions of customers over many platforms.
Hell they even brag about it saying on the game they have more awards then employes. they sold the game for 1.5 BIllion $ but still treat it like a simple game made by two guys in a garage .
Started a new world on a new account set up a beacon and it gives speed but no regeneration and as soon as i placed it the whole frame rate got very laggy so i removed it. this is a new world only a few days on it and only 5 double chests of items playing on Hard on the standard texture pack.
Not sure if its been mentioned, but items placed on sticky pistons don't "stick"...when extended then retracted the blocks stay in the extended position.
* I've build 2 mob farms where water comes out of dispensers. The flowing down water creates new source blocks so that when the dispensers stop flowing water the source blocks that were created from the flowing water (many blocks away) is making the build not work. In one situation I had to clean up approximately 20 new source blocks created about 10 blocks away from the dispensers.
Issues:
* Can't the PS4/XBOX editions have a higher spawn rate/numbers? I seem to run out of place for chickens rather quick. Threw 5 stacks of eggs without a single chick coming out.
the water thing has been mentioned many times and they are currently looking into it for the next bug fix best thing if u want it fixed right now right now is to build a dif set up with constant water flow instead of redstone. chickens i only have ever been able to have a dozen chickens even going back to ps3 there has been no word at all on or when or if we will get higher spawns or when or if they will fix the height limit on mobs to spawn either.
