while i'm playing, it doesn't matter what i do, clicking, walking or even placing down blocks or chating, randomly minecraft will pause, bringing up the main menu. what can i do to stop this? (i have already tried to uninstall and install minecraft and it still didn't work.)
Well, first thing you have to do is click on the spoiler of your operating system. Then follow the steps inside
Windows 7/Vista
Download LWJGL from http://lwjgl.org/ and open it
Press the Windows key (Start)
Type %appdata%
Go to .minecraft
Bin
Then in LWJGL, go to jar
Copy jimput.jar, lwjgl.jar, and lwjgl_util.jar to the bin folder
Go back in the LWJGL
In .minecraft, open the natives folder
In LWJGL, go to the native folder
Then windows
Copy everything in that folder to the .minecraft natives folder
Play!
Linux
Download LWJGL from http://lwjgl.org/ and open it
Set your folder properties to view invisible folders (Each OS is different, Google if you don't know how)
Go to .minecraft
Bin
Then in LWJGL, go to jar
Copy jimput.jar, lwjgl.jar, and lwjgl_util.jar to the bin folder
Go back in the LWJGL
In .minecraft, open the natives folder
In LWJGL, go to the native folder
Then linux
Copy everything in that folder to the .minecraft natives folder
Play!
Mac OS X
Download LWJGL from http://lwjgl.org/ and open it
Navigate to <Your home folder>/Library/Application Support
Go to minecraft
Bin
Then in LWJGL, go to jar
Copy jimput.jar, lwjgl.jar, and lwjgl_util.jar to the bin folder
Go back in the LWJGL
In minecraft, open the natives folder
In LWJGL, go to the native folder
Then macosx
Copy everything in that folder to the .minecraft natives folder
Play!
Updating LWJGL should do the trick.
