In a part of my world, it is a big world with lots of buildings so I've always gotten around 15 fps in the area, but recently I got a new modem which actually made my internet drastically slower and my download speed is now only around .25 MB/s
IN THE UPDATE: part of it was "Made Singleplayer internally use a Multiplayer server"
WITH ALL THIS BEING SAID: I'm now only averaging about 7 FPS in the same exact area.
It's not just my download speed that is slow, whatever the problem is with the new modem the internet is slow in general. At a few points yesterday it would take around 2 minutes to load google. We fixed that problem but now when I try to look at a video on any kind of video sharing site it creeps along and buffers a lot more than usual.
I'm wondering if the combination of the "Singleplayer game internally using a multiplayer server" and my horrendously slow internet are causing the drop in my FPS.
I'm trying to get the internet problem fixed because it just happened yesterday.
