Is it possible to go to 1.0 from 1.1?

I accidentally clicked the update button and I reallly want to get back to 1.0 so I can get on a pre-update server. Any suggestions/solution? I would super appreciate help

cant do it normally, but if you get MCNostalgia tool it can downgrade for you

This is why you back-up your .minecraft folder beforehand.
