So as part of a custom map i would like to have some of the NPCs roaming freely, i've created custom skins for them and would like them in around a equal moderation. However i have only been able to spawn one type (only the farmer) i've tried using a mob spawner and changing it to spawn villagers but it only spawns the farmer, i've tried using single player commands and spawning in villagers but still only the farmer spawns. If anyone could help me with this i'm be very thankful and you'll get a shout-out on a YouTube Video.
The only way to get more villagers of different types is cloning.
EX:
/clone #amount
or
clone #amount
and stare directly at them or else it will not work.
I suggest binding to help you clone faster.
EX:
/Bind c clone #amount
or
bind c clone #amount
However it is very hard to get villagers where you want. Expecially with Blacksmith.
Blacksmith are stupid on game, if you let them out, they wonder outside the village. I suggest once SPC allows different types of villager spawning, you should make your own custom village, and add walls around it. :smile.gif:
I GOT IT!!!!! It requires MC Edit though, so if you don't have it, your out of luck. You find an NPC Village in a world, you type /freeze with SPC and you mark off where the block is that the NPC is standing on. You go to MC Edit, highlight the block that you marked off, and two blocks of air above it (this is where the villager was standing), and you paste it into another world! I did this for a custom map, and it works!!! But remember, it requires MC Edit, SPC is optional...

IKR! I hate that. I am making a new world in honor of 1.3.1, I need a preist for my church, all the priests I found ran away, I never found them again, and I need to spawn one in the church so he doesn't run away. (I have the altar in fences so he can't leave the it or the church)
anyone have a solution?
i want different type of villager too...
1- Finish the mod API
2- Give brains to villagers (make em more usefull)
3- Add ambiance: birds, fishes, bugs, crabs on beaches, monkeys in jungles...
4- More plants! Aquatic, any fruit tree, bushes....
5- Ambiant sounds!

Where can I find the mod?
If I try, I can probably update the mod so it works in 1.2.3.
What is the mod called?
