I have a 64 bit operating system but run a 32 bit internet browser, so to use java related content in my browser I need to install 32 bit java.
Since Minecraft runs better on 64 bit java on my PC how can I ensure that Minecraft will use 64 bit java and not 32 bit java? (since they will both be installed on my PC)
Minecraft appears to scan both program files folders and seems to pick 64-bit even if you want the 32-bit version for various reasons (such as the steam overlay).
If your browser is 32 bit it will most likely not notice 64-bit java is there.

So what your saying is, even if I install both versions of java (32 and 64), Minecraft will still use 64 bit java?
