Hey guys i just bought a mac and i downloaded mine craft and when i closed it, the icon is no longer on my mac, so i have to go back and redownload it, is there any way to make it stay on the desktop? So i don't have to redownload it every time?

Ok so you say it disappears on the dock after you close minecraft?
Right click the icon while it is still open, and in options click 'Keep in Dock'

If you don't get that, you can always use the little magnifying glass in the top right corner of your screen and search up 'minecraft'
