So Minecraft, and Dxdiag are telling me to update my video drivers, so how would I do that?
Also.. I'm rather worried that this may not be an outdated graphics card problem, because of what Dxdiag says about my display, I'd like to make sure that this is only a matter of updating my graphics drivers, and not something else, as this happened after I had to do a windows reinstall on my computer due to a very nasty virus.

If you know what manafacture your card is (i.e. nVidia, ATI, etc.) you can just go to their website and search from there. As a nVidia owner, they have a system scanner that finds what card you have and downloads the appropriate drivers for you!
I usually look for the card I have by going to the Control Panel and look in the System menu.
I hope you resolve this issue speedily so you can get to Minecraftin'!

Well I've tried the system menu, can't find anything mentioning my graphics card, or it's driver.

Go to Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Information. It should be under Video or Graphics, I'm not sure on the specifics, I have been long disconnected from the world of Windows.

I'm having a bad feeling about this...
You either are running graphics off your motherboard, or your card is working improperly. Either way, the only way to know for sure is to open her up and take a look yourself, which I don't recommend doing if you are a novice to computer maintenance.
A quicker, but less certain, way to check if you're running video off your motherboard is to see if the VGA port you plugged your monitor into is in parallel with a bunch of other kinds of ports (i.e. your ethernet port, sound inputs, etc.
It may not be the most up to date one, but that will at least let us know what specific Intel card you have.

Alright I have a bit more info, from looking at System Information, and at my driver, apparently it says that the driver for my graphics card has not been installed.
When you say you found it, can you explain a bit more?

So I got the right driver from intel, after alot of searching for the proper download site(it picked the right driver for me.), I did the download, I ran the first part of the install where it set up the proper installer or something like that, then I did the actual graphics card install, and that's where it had the error.
my graphics card is a ATI Radeon™ Xpress 200 integrated graphics
Which of these is true?

I'm really not sure what my graphics driver is to be honest, the product description of the emachine t5048 told me it was the ATI one, but I got the download for the driver from Intel, and it even said it was an ati driver. It's really confusing me.

You need to go to the AMD site and search for the drivers. Those will not have an up to date driver available, however, the driver theoretically should work for Windows 7 (Vista and 7 are not too far apart). That's odd that Intel has a download for that, but it looks like a legit site. Just to be safe, go download the latest version of the Catalyst driver from AMD's site.

I honestly don't know, it ran before I had to reinstall windows.
I know, I can't find out, Dxdiag won't tell me, and I don't know how to find it.
By the way, if it helps, I'm running an emachine model T5048

Apparently it couldn't find a video driver, and it said something about connecting a standard VGA driver.
PLEASE HELP ME.
Oh and, my graphics card is a ATI Radeon™ Xpress 200 integrated graphics
