I know this has been mentioned before, but I think it deserves another post in Support for beta and maybe it will get passed on so that someone can look into it.
I generated a new beta world and noticed that there are still errors in how the chunks generate and create the "top most" set of blocks and how they align with each other. See pic.
That's a Cartograph plot of a section of the new world I generated. Note on the top section how the grass and sand interact and how it seems the chunks are rotated and flipped. I took the chunks and rotated and flipped them back so that they align much better. Some chunks needed 180° rotation, some needed 90° rotation and flipping. Makes for a much smoother transition and isn't so jarring when you're walking around the area. On some of my worlds, I've actually manually fixed this in game to make the landscape more pleasing.
Again, I know it's been mentioned before, but thought it justified a new post to attract more attention. Hope it gets fixed somewhere along the line.
