To start this off, I've never been able to play Minecraft on my own computer. What happens is that every time I load Minecraft, it dl's all the files and after displaying "Switching applet..." for a millisecond Minecraft just crashes. When I try again Minecraft dl's all files again and the same thing as before repeats, Java just crashes. Since Java crashes, there is no console to copy anything from because the console disappears when Java crashes.
I've tried to update Java, clear Java's cache, install JDK, update my graphics driver, try different browsers (Firefox, IE, Chrome), running the browser as admin, and delete the minecraft folder in Temp. Nothing of the stuff that have helped in other topics helped here.
What could be the villain is Norton 360, since I've noticed that a few more who seems to have the same problem talked about it. What bugs in this is that my brother also has this program but Minecraft works fine on his computer.
Earlier I had the "Fatal error occurred (5): null" issue but I got rid of it but this error showed up instead.
When I spamclick "Copy" in the console while Minecraft loads, the last thing it says is "security: Kontrollerar om certifikatet finns i JPI-sessionscertifikatlager". This is in Swedish so I'll roughly translate it: "security: Controlling if the certificate is in JPI-sessioncertificatelayer". What would help is to know what happens after this.
This error might have something to do with lwjgl, but I'm not sure about that (didn't really get any good help on a lwjgl forum).

How do I write a computer spec? Where and how do I find the necessary info?
Many thanks to those who can find a solution and post about it here. :tongue.gif:

Atleast you know what error you have. I googled "Java BSOD" and found an interesting link: "ATI + Java = BSOD", my graphics card is an ATI Radeon HD 4850. That might tell something about my error.
i ended up re-installing windows vista to fix mine. thogh i had other driver problems with nvidea as well. me second monitor quit working. so to fix java, and my 2nd monitor, i found it worth it. but now im getting "pixel format not accelerated" fml. probably just have to update windows thogh. wish me luck!
