Ok so I decided to go with these guys, because there kinda cheap, but once i bought my server, and I opened the control panel, and I only got to chose from about 50 mods, so I couldn't have my own like regios or lwc. I also wanted to ask on live support how to assemble permissions. Nut your live chat is always offline. So if something doesn't change I will have to quit paying for this server and switch to another company.
----EDIT----- Ok now I cant add plugins, or edit the config files. This is a disaster so i guess i will have to drop you and move on with some other service.
I disagree, if a company such as my own is willing to work for cheap and hard with 24/7 live support from the OWNERS, then you just need to do more research. Lol.

How long have you been in business and how many clients do you have?
Ok im gonna quit because creepers are blowing things up on the server and I cant help it because I cant turn off monsters, or get a friendly creeper plugin :angry.gif: :angry.gif: ! So i have had enough I will go with some other service. I will go with any service that is around $25 or less, can host 20-30 people, or have 1-2GB of ram. And lets me add plugins i want or has a lot of plugins that are helpful, and that has friendly live support help.

We offer all of this. Our premium services come with full control you can run any plugin you want and can even change the server.properties to control the server settings. Our $25.00/month comes with 1GB of RAM. Our prices might be a little higher, but we don't cut corners just to offer a few dollars cheaper. PM if you have any questions.

We've been in business 2 months and reached 200x that many..
600 clients? then why do you ground gravel for these clients?
Also I'd rather have 3 happy clients than 50 unhappy clients, our 3 happy clients are the only clients that decided to go with us so far, so that really shows you people are skeptical about cheap server hosting.
I will allow for a refund if your not satisfied zombi. :smile.gif:

MPServ has a pretty solid reputation. Your implication that having a lot of clients means you have a lot of unhappy clients is ridiculous.
Also, the idea of a business, as far as I'm aware, is to make money.
I thought you guys had been around longer... Interesting.

Judging by your tone, you seem mad, I'm a bit tired of going off topic on these forums all the time(well I don't mind conversation but when it's constant attacking at my servers and it's rates and the "you get what you pay for" crap, it gets annoying) but I guess I won't mind feeding one last time.
They have a solid reputation but think of it this way, let's put it under gaming terms because the principle is easier to understand versus servers. (I can go there too but its the same concept)
When a game first starts, the community is small about 50 or so, so just one game master is needed, the community is small but there is less events, less events however the game master can monitor all the players and easily reply to customer questions. When the game expands to let's say 5,000, there's probably 3-4 game masters at this point, the game masters still reply to the support but have to pay less attention to over asked questions or overall repetition[like a bug/glitch].
To compensate and satisify clients as a whole they make the ToS to cut the customer complains atleast in half. They then proceed to pull up events to "Win" back the clients. Good companies such as LoL even create a sub forum for suggestions and when a community collectively wants something done such as a hero buff/debuff or whatever, the company responds, thus making the service better than individual service, in a sense.( but it's not at a personal level and people may feel ignored)
Long story short, the more players, the more group support but the less individual support. The less players, the more individual support but the less group support.
Now to address your second attack, businesses do make money, just so happens that my business makes money using the more efficient methods with out over charging.
You misunderstand me if you genuinely think I'm mad. I was pointing out the faulty and misleading supposition behind your implication about MPServ (or any host who has more than 3 clients). You are being fairly defensive over some pretty bland comments.
Also are you really saying that you make a signifcant profit off of 3 clients on one node? That's hard to believe. If it's true you should write the book on MC hosting.
The axiom "you get what you pay for" is accurate in this industry, as has been proven time and again. It seems a little out of place for you to suggest otherwise with your small client base and lack of experience (no offense regarding either point - you have admitted these things yourself). We have one of the better profit margins of many of the hosts here and it's slim even at our fairly low prices. You can't have a high enough profit margin to boast of with your bargain bin prices and one dual quad core server. You must have the best colo deal ever if you're not renting servers, because I know renting a dual quad is not cost efficient.
Correct me if I've got my facts wrong, please. I don't mean any of this to be antagonistic. I just think your perspective is misguided.

The axiom "you get what you pay for" is generally true for everything in life. However there exceptions to all rules, and in the hosting industry I would point to BuyVM as a perfect example of getting more then you pay for.
I personally didn't have a good experience with BuyVM.. But that's not the point. I don't know where you got the idea that we are giving our users a bad experience?
I personally don't know of one unhappy client within our user base, and we still manage to respond to 75% of tickets within 15 minutes.
Thats to bad about your experience with BuyVM, I guess that goes to show you everyone is different. I am sure you have a great company and your customers love you. I just wanted to put my 2 cents in on the axiom.
Mpserve ALL THE WAY!!
Awesome. Great for noobs! i Constantly go to them for help and they're usually on the live chat 24/7.
No lag, Thousands of plug-ins.
and again,. THEY WILL HELP YOU WHEN YOUR NOOB SELF BREAKS SOMETHING lol (i do this once a week at least lol )

My host is a good example of an exception.
Our support may not be 24/7, but it's pleasant, active, and pleasant.
Granted, if we begin to grow more, we may need to expand to 24/7, but for now, our support is more than adequate.
I've been with many hosts who claim "24/7 support" yet they're always "overflowing" with tickets.
In addition, our servers run very well. Although we don't have a large profit margin, we have good quality servers and we can make a profit, even if it isn't as big as other hosts.
MinecraftTS is another great example of an exception.

Indeed. At those rates, they'll go out of business fast.
