Panem-MC is a new, unique, and promising idea for a Minecraft server. With huge amounts of potential backing us up, we assure you this will be a good investment if executed properly.
Panem-MC puts you in the shoes of Katniss, to where you get to choose a District to live in, find your way of living, all while hoping you don't get picked for the Hunger Games. Besides the Role-Play aspect, you can also play Survival Games as another "server" type thing. We highly recommend reading our community document, as it explains in great detail our aims / goals for our server. You can find it here.
We have been in-development for the past 2 months, and have been on a Sponsorship for this time. Due to unfortunate events with our host, they are no longer continuing, so we are in need of a new server by September 14th if we are to continue development.
What we require in terms of a server:
Dedicated IP: We are fine with a subdomain for development, but we would like to upgrade to a custom domain within time. I'm no domain expert, but I may register our own domain for our website, so would it be possible to use that domain as well for the server?
2-3GB of RAM: For development purposes, we would like at least 2GB of RAM. However once we release, we would like at least 3GB of RAM. Note that we currently have a 4GB server.
MySQL Database: We have certain plugins which need a MySQL database in order to run.
SSD's: No reason needed. SSD's are faster than HDD's.
Easy-to-learn Control Panel: I am experienced with Multicraft and CraftSRV.
Transferring our current files, to a new server
What we will do in return:
Advertisement: While this is a redundant offer, I believe we can drive a lot of traffic to your services. We have high expectations for this server, and we plan on becoming on of the largest Hunger Games server out there. With this in mind, we will drive a lot of traffic to you in due time. Alternatively, I am a Mod Developer as well, and have developed a few popular mods. One mod on Planet Minecraft (called SkyrimMC) gets around 1k-2k views per day. I can easily put your services at the top of the page.
Percentage of Donations: We plan on providing you with a percentage of donations, or a set amount of donations per month. For instance, we can come up with a custom system that provides you with enough money to cover the costs of the server and give you a little extra, or we could give you the amount of money the server costs to run. In doing this, in the first few months, we may have a few dry spells, in which donations will run a little slow. In these times, we wish that you would be able to put up with this if it happens.
