Hey guys, I was wondering what would i need in order to become a minecraft server hosting company. I have about $500 (More could be spent on computers) to spend on whatever is need (i have a domain already). Please help!
Let's just say, Don't start a hosting company if you don't know much about it and $500 wont get you far. You need at least $2000 - $3000 to start and you should know every detail about how to host servers and how to fix problems in them.
I have all the code ready for a host using some VPS architecture. And due to the awesome algorithm, we will not even need to spend money on servers/nodes, thus concentrating on advertisement. I know my way around in server Operating systems, so we should be good for the most part.
Although I do not have enough funds, so, if you will, we could go on with a partnership, maybe?
