I run a dedicated server and I was just wondering which is the best way to go for my server? (Which causes more lag)
Using screen for running servers or
running multicraft on servers
Which one would make more lag for the servers? Because I know running like 6 screens can make things SUPER laggy but then I though about multicraft is basically like running a website and don't know if that will cause lag
Where did you get the idea that running multiple screens would cause lag? I don't even see how that could work, if anything running multicraft will waste more system resources, which in turn can reduce the amount of resources you can allocate to servers.
Screen will work just fine, and is more lightweight than Multicraft, plus, it requires less dependences be installed on your server.

Multicraft is simpler than using a screen, even if it takes quite a few of Memory it is still better than running a screen especially if you attempt to run 6 screens.

I've tested running screens. Go run a server with 60 players and 40 plugins then opening 6-7 screens. It will lag

If it is a single server you only need one screen. The only thing that screen does (in this case) is run Minecraft perpetually, even when you close your SSH window. You should not have 6-7 screen instances running for a single server. If you are running multiple servers off one machine then you should have multiple screens, but they would still not be causing lag.
Your lag issues most likely come from the plugins you are using, or limitations of the physical hardware on your machine.

I'm not having lag. I was just wondering which one would have less. Also I know not to have 6-7 screens for one server.

No, I wouldn't suggest using that in this case either (nor is it even designed for this use.)
Screen is the best bet if its a single server running. If you want to control multiple servers then you might consider Multicraft, but screen and some well designed scripts can be much more flexible and lightweight.

Come join this awesome server!
