Hello,
I want to start getting into minecraft hosting, I already am doing web hosting, selling dedicated servers .etc...
I have a rack in a datacenter already with gigabit fiber coming in 1000x1000.
I already have an owned multicraft license.
I would like to know what hardware I should consider for minecraft hosting.
Do I need cpu power as much as ram?
Like would this be ok:
E3-1220 4 Core
64GB DDR3
SSD Storage
For node 1 and then expand from there?
Please give you opinions please and thank you
What's 1000x1000?
Psychz Networks - Dedicated Servers, Co-location | PhotonVPS - SSD Cloud | ProtectedCraft - DDoS Protected Minecraft Server True Layer 7 DDoS Mitigation | BGP Optimized by Noction Intelligent Routing Tier 4 Datacenter in Los Angeles, CA | Dallas, TX | Ashburn, VA
It means a synchronous gigabit.
