If you haven't heard of it, /worldborder is a new command in 14w17a, that allows you to set a border for the world and adjust the center of it. However there are bugs that Mojang have yet to fix.
Here's the list of bugs:
All entities are never pushed into the border when it's set to a certain number. This means that any players who are outside the new borders will be stuck.
Branching off from our last bug, when you break the bottom of double tallgrass outside a border, it very quickly turns into a sunflower before disappearing. The mentioning of a sunflower does not appear in the F3 menu.
Even though this doesn't apply to the /worldborder command (i just want it to be noticed), wool models are offset. This means that light blue wool is brown wool and white wool is black wool. This also applies with sheep, so it is WAY easier to make light blue and black pixel art now.
Have you submitted the bugs to the Minecraft Bug tracker, after searching it to ensure they weren't already reported?
I've noticed that I'm able to break blocks outside of the border in both Creative and Survival modes. Is the purpose of the world border to limit player movement, limit player interaction with the world beyond the wall, or perhaps both?

I just want more people to see it.
Besides, I even got solutions!
1. Push players IN instead of keeping them there.
2. This needs to be fixed.
3. Re-organize the models.

I think it's fixed in the latest snapshot? (14w19a)
I haven't tested it myself, but I think it is.

I agree how do you?
Ey
1. I think it's intended; if you're outside, you don't get pushed inside, you just die by suffocation. https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-53380
2. I noticed that too; it's reported already (not fixed though) https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-53439
3. Fixed in 14w18a https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-53580
