would armour actully effect their defence? make it so if a endermen picks up a pumpkin it can actully wear it when it's wearing a pumpkin it will attack you if your wearing one aswell, that'd be interesting to see.
As long as they dont have full sets, it's a nifty little add-on.
Yeah. You won't see these on easy, you may see some rarely on normal, and you'll definitely encounter one or two in your adventures in hard.
Difficulty affects:
- Chance of them having any armour
- How much armour they have
- Chance of them having a cool weapon
- Enchantments they may or may not have
I missed having that extra difficulty in minecraft and this will make a lot of moders happy.
What if zombies that spawned with shovels were able to dig through dirt/sand/gravel to get to you!? They'd be really rare and would do less damage than a zombie with their fists. Only in hard mode, of course.

Cool. I would like it if a lot of skeletons and zombies had armor and killing them sometimes broke the armor and sometimes dropped it, so you wouldnt always get diamond armor from each individual kill

They should only be able to dig towards you if they have a direct line of sight towards you or they have already seen you. That way, they couldn't just drop out of the walls in your mines.

Endermen, rather than taking random blocks and placing them semi-randomly, will now build caves (Out of blocks they steal), which are dark, and therefor mobs can spawn. they will be more active in this. In hardmode, if the only material between you or a chest, and the enderman, is NOT ender-safe, they will tunnel to you or your chests. Hardmode, cobblestone stops being ender-safe. can ignite TNT. will place TNT on non-neder-safe materials that are between them and you, or chests, but only if they have already stolen the TNT.
How to make a house safe from endermen, even in hardmode? stone, Stone brick, mossy cobble, and most importantly, Don't randomly place TNT for endermen to find.
also I just gotta say... Skeletons with chainmail and leather pants. welcome to diablo-craft.
and also. Mobs should automatically be aggressive to some other mobs, like cows. for example, zombie kills a cow, zombie gets an upgrade, (random leather armor). that would be cool.

Will they have an attack animation with the weapon they're holding? It would make it feel like they're actually hitting you and not touching you
D'aaawww those baby zombies look adorable! But seeing how they're infected villager children, do the baby zombies grow up into regular zombies over time?
