With the plethora of new mob spawner customizations and the recent upgrades to custom items and potions, I thought of something:
Would it be possible to use these (or other MCEdit filters) to create custom spawn eggs?
They could be used to spawn any entity, but also entities with extra data (potion effects, velocity data, held items) just like the custom spawners do. This would be especially helpful so you could give someone a wolf spawn egg that spawns a tamed wolf, and use coding similar to the "@p" command block command to make it be owned by the player who is nearest to it when it spawns.
Is this currently possible? If not, I think it would be a great addition to the next snapshot. It seems like most of the coding already exists; it just needs to be combined and implemented.
So, if anyone's conveniently buddies with Dinnerbone or Jeb, pass this along.
With the MCedit filter, You can Change the colour of the words and lore. Anyone know how to do that in NBTedit? I can't run the new version of MCedit on my computer for some reason, so I've turned to NBTedit.

Kamyu's Tools are better for spawners, but sethbling's tools can do the same

I am ninja'd far too often.
Not yet, but Dinnerbone is going to add some way to do it in a future snapshot.

Actually it can be done on servers. I have an "admin sword" on mine.
