Hey, I know what I could do with this! On my server my house has a drink bar, except the drinks are actually potions. I could change the names to what they should be!
Nice thinking! I'm sure map-makers will find some really creative uses for this.
I have a question. If there's a trade with an emerald block called "Dat Emerald Block" and you have a normal-named emerald block, could you trade the normal one, or does it have to be name specific?

Well, damage values, enchantments, and book names/contents don't work in trading, so I doubt this will.

Allocators are no longer the future, we have Hoppers now. I still like them, though.

No. You can give him any old emerald block, but he will give you a named item
Vanilla sonic screwdriver: 64 redstone torches with Knockback, Smite (there are no robots, so zombies will have to do) and Efficiency spawned from a spawner in the Minecraft TARDIS.
The minecraft tardis isn't bigger on the inside. It just teleports you.

Actually, I've been playing around with the command blocks to make a TARDIS. It works well, but it isn't exactly "sexy" as the Doctor would say.
Uh, I don't know what I'm doing wrong here, but this isn't working for me. The wiki says I have to make the "display" compound tag with a string "Name" setting the item's name. That does absolutely nothing for me in-game. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? I'm using NBTExplorer and am saving after making those new tags.

...but that's just like, my opinion, man.
I am ninja'd far too often.
I'm assuming so.

I must test!

I figured as much. But, good to see some evidence of it.

Praise be to Spode.

My Sword of Omens and sonic screwdriver are about to become a LOT more awesome!

Could make for an interesting custom map.

Yes, mattpoppybros, I was mistaken about them coming out oddly. I hope we get that.

Yeah, that's what mine does. I just mean that the inside is just a beacon block as the console.

For one, I believe so. Secondly, the glint color is a texture.
