I think I should fix the item model for written books, right now it renders as untextured placeholder in your hand.
Looking at the command in the background, it appears to be a /summon command that summons a written book Item entity, with data tags identical to those used by /tellraw. This seems to mean you will be able to use /tellraw's functionalities in books, as shown by the "Click to run a command" tooltip in the image.
Also, from the text of the tweet, it appears that books are getting a new model.
