Is it just me, or has ore generation improved? I seem to be finding massive amounts of coal and iron ore on the surface now, without having to mine as much.
Gold and diamond are still hard to find as usual, and redstone is not so common anymore.
Is it just me? or has anyone else experienced this as well.
To me, it seems the ground level is lower then before 1.8, its pretty easy to hit bedrock with little digging, unlike before it would take around 5 mins, my theory also makes sense as they didn't heighten the sky limit, and the world can make massive mountains.
Oh good, so its not just me.
Not complaining though, the 1.8 update has seemed to "spread" the game out more, where you spend a bit more time in horizontal exploring instead of just digging down in your local area.
