Now, I never really used pistons before 1.8, so I never looked all that much for slimes. In fact, I used to just play peaceful as I just wanted to build at the time. Now I play with aggressive mobs, and I want to make some sticky pistons.
I searched down deep for slimes, but wasn't having any luck, so I discovered one of those engines that tells you where they are likely to spawn. I built a slime 'farm'(mainly just a big lit empty room to get them to spawn) on a creative level to test it out but had no luck getting them to spawn. Tried again on a spare survival level on a different seed, but they didn't spawn where I was told they would either.
Now, I'm curious. because of the new world generator, seeds have changed. Will this affect where slimes are allowed to spawn? I'm sorry if this has been asked before, I looked but I didn't see anything about it.
So am I just unlucky or will I have to do some testing of my own to find these green blobs? :smile.gif: I don't mind either way, of course if it is changed it's possible it will change again with 1.9, which is why I'm asking now!
