I just had an idea about NPC villages. Considering how human zombies are in the overworld and zombie pigmen are in the Nether, what if villages in the overworld were human, and villages in the Nether were pigmen. Adding villages to the nether would help to make it more interesting. Thoughts?

Well how would the village function? Will it be hostile and not welcoming of your player, or will it be like human NPC villages and you will be able to interact with it and it's inhabitants. An interesting idea I had would be if you could become a resident of a village, and neighboring villages will either fight for more land or join forces and conquer other cities.

I think that NPC villages in the nether would be a great addition, It would obviously make the nether more interesting! I think Notch should also add dungeons in the nether with new "Nether items". That would be fun! :wink.gif:

You would choose. They could give you missions and you could accept, and once the mission is complete, you would get a prize! Or, you could burn the village to the ground and engage in war. Not that i would do that

I have a feeling that NPC's wont be anywere near that advanced
something completly random, probobly consisting of the word epic at least one. Examples, "Epicness in a can" "Wall o' epic" "Epic episode III, the return of Epic" etc.
I'd rather just have pigmen in the real world and zombie pigmen in the nether. Humans in Minecraft would be... odd.

Do you really want humans in SSP? The whole point of SSP is to be ALONE. :/
