Of all the things people could think of lol "GIANTS" really?
I would have thought Of a more Scary type boss. Like a Megadon Shark (The are the most biggest scary thing on earth and the one that was found was over 100 tons) that is big!! type on google pics of megadon sharks if you don't believe me.
Giants is an okay boss i suppose for a dungon or cave. but water seems to be the only thing in minecraft that is empty and needs something to spice it up abit.
You do know that giants are coded into the game because at one point they were there right?
Edit: btw, why would we want the scariest things in real life when they can make original scary monsters?
IF they get stuck on leaf blocks then they shouldn't be put in the game.
chances are any boss the add will be in a contained room or an open area. and I've never heard of any sort of boss that would be small enough to avoid that.

Those sharks have been extinct for millions of years so how did they find one that was over 100 tons?

Maybe. But if notch creates a giant mob that roams the overworld and you simple need to run under 1 treet to escape it it will be pretty weak.
Simon adn lewis did a lets play review of the "Jurassic craft" mod and after watching all teh T rex's and brontosaur's glitch out on the geometry because of their size it wasn't much of a sell.
Tree's turn into sharkcages for hostile mobs. The bigger the mobs are the safer you are if everyting else is kept equal, meaning a giant skeleton or a giant zombie would be easier to kill if you kept health damage etc =.
Giants actually work well right now. All they would need is new sounds, (right now they sound like the player) more health, maybe a special attack, (it could summon Zombies and Skeletons, for example) and a way to summon it.
I'm not suggesting them just more wondering what they are and if any one thinks they might be giants. They probably won't be (or if they are they'll have major adjustments!) but I still see them having a chance of being a boss.

It's not that I hate you, it's just that, if you were on fire and I had water... I would drink it
I really dont like bosses, i think they make it linear. Like in terraria, you just see how far you are upon how many bosses youve killed, while in minecraft its hard to compare how far you are
I'd imagine giant zombies would require a lot of room to spawn. Perhaps a giant dungeon? idk.
you have a point. I don't think they were either, although bosses have been confirmed. I would assume that will most likely be out with this update.
Giant Red Rocket Powered Turtle From The Fifth Alternate Dimension!!!
