Oh absolutely. As thick as they were my worlds got deleted as a matter of rage, but still live in a server folder. I will make a new world to compensate for them but definitely until then...
WE PREPAAAAAAARE.

So I was working on this really cool resource pack a while ago, but bad progress nonwithstanding, I think I found something much better... I'm probably gonna never release another custom Minecraft map.Until we meet again...
Regarding the fact I don't have a single player world due to extreme playing of SMP, I shall make one. I imagine my server is also going to make a new map, but edit in our builds.

Nope. Not even updating. I dont like one point eight.
...you dislike the update which hasn't come out yet, and we don't really know much about yet so much you're set about not getting it? That's... that's great.
Anyways, yes, I am. I make a new world for every update, and it'll be very significant for this one, with the revamped terrain generation. I don't want to have an area of small, boring biomes smushed together and surrounded by the big, interested ones with ravines and rivers and strongholds and everything I want far away from my main base.
(not to mention I want to really get a feel for how survival will work now, so I want to play all the way up from having nothing.)

Most of the new features they revealed I hate to hell.
The only ones I like are rivers, increased map height and bug fixes.
Already made a very long nether rail. Will use that when update happens. I see no point in making a new world if that could simply be done. Not really one to waste months worth of work.

Many test maps, mostly to find a seed that looks interesting (old seeds won't produce the same results anymore).
Once I find one, I'll just stick with that until the next major update :smile.gif:
