*gulp* ok, so we are now gonna have long malformed stickmen with the mentality of crying angel statues from Doctor Who... and they could be on peaceful mode as well... *craps pants* I've survived being blown up by Creepers, garrotted by Zombies, shot at by skeletons and jumped on by spiders... ugh... the spiders... with their evil red eyes... and now this? *runs away screaming like a girl* :sad.gif:
Yep. DON'T. BLINK.

I really don't think Notch is going to have Endermen drop diamonds in the final product. Think about it: on your first night, you could go out, lure in an Enderman, lead him to water, and boom. Diamond. Do that again and again all night, and you can get a huge amount of diamonds, just on your first night alone.
But still, notch said that endermen are very rare, and, how many tmes have you killed a pig and it dropped 2 pork chops? It probably didn't happen as much as one or zero. So, you may kill an endermen, it may drop nothing, plus their rarity, so it is very possible for them to drop diamonds. It is probably equal to going diamond mining, in rarity and danger, except the resources you need to mine is more than endermen hunting, bit it takes more time to mine, so it should be equal. you definitely won't run into more than one endermen in a night, let alone one every other night, so I think that justifies it.
hey guys in the prerelease i found an ender one my first night i stared at it and it left me alone so i walked off and 30 seconds later when getting iron it knocked me into a cave i killed it and it dropped an ender pearl :dry.gif:
shocked me bad! now i want be inside this!

1: Make sure your entire significant area is completely lit so endermen cannot spawn inside of it
2: Make a mote around your house with a width of 3 blocks since they can't survive in water
3: Wear a pumpkin whenever inside of your house so no enderman can teleport inside (even though they're not really going to be moving blocks if they are teleporting to you)
4: Make a piston walkway that can be activated from either side of the significant building
Just discovered you can make cracked stone blocks by mined stone block stairs.

If you have ask "Is using X cheating?", the answer is most likely yes. Being a sandbox game doesn't change the fact you are cheating in it, regardless of what people say. However, the question you should be asking is "Does it matter?" The answer to that question is no.
GOD DANGIT.

Not sure, to be honest. I know it can be farmed, so I'm assuming you can find them in the wild like most other farm-able stuff (except wheat).
