Heck, why do I have so many golem pictures already for every opportunity....
Here a workshop.
I took the design from the initial smithery of a village.
Just a word of warning, though iron golems are 3 meters/blocks tall, they seem to have a spawn height of 4 meters/blocks, so in only 3 meter/block tall spaces, they get stuck until the fourth block is destroyed. I would highly recommend giving them a 4 block high space or make sure you don't have obsidian for a ceiling, lest they might get killed before even starting.

In the real world, you stick your head in the dirt to hide from problems.
In Minecraft, you stick your head in the dirt to find problems.
You'll have to rename it villager_golem.png because I am being lazy and using imgur. Still not perfect, but people have been PMing me non stop asking for it finished or not.
Thanks! I'm going to re-watch the movie soon once I get it. The vanilla golems seem a little salmon colored. I was expecting them to be more on the gray/silver side since it's an iron golem.
We don't have to discuss the addition in a single topic. So many people would comment in it that it would be hard to hold an interactive conversation.
I also think that the Golem is perfect for defending villages because it opens up the door for an entire slew of new lore.
Before this, I was wanting just a retextured Testie to wield a sword and kill zombies, but that wouldn't develop the Testificate culture any more than it already is. These ancient Golems give a sense of time to the culture and how it has endured the harsh world of Minecraft through the centuries.
Plus, you gotta love the artwork; a big iron Golem with cracks and vines on it...
Kinda makes me think of the massive guardians in MP Corruption
...only smaller haha
Corruption! Gosh, that's one of my favorite games ever, though the first two of the Metroid Prime series were a bit less linear.

I'll check it out then :tongue.gif:
Considering they are made from iron blocks, that would make sense. Would you prefer they look like flowers and lollipops?

Testificates=Dwemer? I'm sure somebody's going to re-texture it to this soon.
