Personally, I love all these little things their adding like Ai and jungles, but what im really waiting for is full interaction with the villagers. Once we get that, I have a full to-do list:
1. Scream up for joy, bang head on ceiling, get back to computer
2. Trade, kill, do quests and every possible interaction with villages 50 times
3. buy a house in town (if possible) or build one nearby and make it a legit survival world
4. Name all my villages :biggrin.gif:
5. Make a new world, find village, burn, repeat x 10
6. Get an entire town of villagers to come at me and let them fall in a ravine and plum it to their death
I'm sure everyone on the forum would like to go back to old way of updating back in Beta. Notch should come back so he can update the whenever he felt like it regardless of what bugs hadn't been fixed yet. People were very fond of that way of updating.
I would downgrade, but not sure if servers do. Not much people do that, really.

Really cool. With this thing here, I can kill villagers as many times I like.
It's a greatly needed update. I want new items too, but I understand that a lot of things need to be tweaked first. people deserve a true challenge.
The Enderdragon can't even hurt you! What kind of an end game is this!!!!!
The new world height change is a welcomed sight. I want to be able to look up and not worry about hitting the skylimit. I want them to fix the border walls and biome issues when they change the terrain generator, because that would mean they could add more awesome things to the generator in the future. Jeb is fixing/has fixed the biome overlap in 1.2 if my interpretation of his post is correct. 1.2 will be trhe first step towards seamless terrain transitions.
World height and biomes screwing up are two issues that many felt they would never try to improve upon. the fact that both are being improved upon in a single update, while the modding API is being worked on probably with the help of bukkit in the background. It is a good time to be a Minecrafter!
Well, Enderdragon blows you up, but they prefer to stay in the sky :smile.gif:
Doors being destroyed *sounds* like a good idea, but in game it would be lame.
It would just makes doors obsolete.
People will just start to only use piston doors.
If they aren't at sticky pistons level yet then they would just throw dirt down in their doorway whenever they're inside.
I don't want minecraft to update until the following is finished:
- Zombies don't drop iron stuff, thats OP, they should add pigmen who raid and grief if you hide in your house from them when they tried to hurt you and these pigmen will drop iron nuggets
- Dragons should be added, they will only attack if you attack them and they will drop dragon eggs that can be turned into baby dragons, tamed, and ridden when they grow up
- Sharks in oceans, crocodiles in swamp, ocean needs variety and swamps need a challenge!
- Sponges need to be completed and findable in ocean biomes, then smelted into dry hold-back-water sponges. Would be EXTREMELY useful!!!
- Villagers should have guards who protect them from enemy MOBs, and we should be able to trade with villagers and maybe even have villager families :tongue.gif: I know thats a bit "LOL GET A GIRLFRIEND" but it'd be funny, we already make houses, why not have a wife and kids in minecraft? You give roses to a female testificate (you can tell its female cuz it will have hair) and it will spawn a baby testificate, and when the baby grows up, he will become an adult testificate
- Testificates should drop gold, iron, and rarely diamonds when killed, so that raiding them is useful and fun, but testificate guards should wear iron armour and use bows or diamond swords, so that there is reasonable challenge.

Or use iron doors. :tongue.gif:
Personally, I also want all enemy MOBs to OPEN wooden doors to get to you instead of flat out smashing them to nothing.

iron doors get broken too, but that's just a bug.
You seem to want a lot from Mojang :tongue.gif: If you want, install some mods!!

He hit it right on the nose for me. Also I'm definitely looking forward to jungles and cats.

If loving you is ROM, then I don't want to Read Write. | "Is it better to have loved and lost than never been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?" - Junkboy
With every step Jeb takes, Minecraft feels more and more like it's starting to become a game rather than just an engine. At long last, we have entered beta.
1. Scream up for joy, bang head on ceiling, get back to computer
2. Trade, kill, do quests and every possible interaction with villages 50 times
3. buy a house in town (if possible) or build one nearby and make it a legit survival world

6. Get an entire town of villagers to come at me and let them fall in a ravine and plum it to their death
- It's a mor organized developing strategy.
- If you think it ruins the fun to have snapshots before the update, you're a ****ing idiot. Just don't download them.
Exactly what I was going to say.
I would downgrade, but not sure if servers do. Not much people do that, really.

I don't really think Jeb can hear everybody's voice

Why?

I can not play 1.1
Only 1.2 pre realeases
I am serious
Mainly because of ladders
But once you have played on the snapshots you can not go back to 1.1
Oh and I'm waiting for the modding API
As for chunk errors
I havent found any but if I did I would use them to my advantage
If you try to fail and you succeed, What have you done?
iron doors get broken too, but that's just a bug.

-taller maps
-potentially huge performance improvements
sounds good to me.
