Overrun by Slimes? No stone or ores? Just dirt for ground? No trees?
Please update super flat. Make less Slimes. Make some stone below the dirt. Make a new world type called flat I think it would be better if there was still some variations in the materials on the ground like Gravel and Sand as well. For now, ill only use it for creative. :sad.gif:
That was the point. It is a map type for having a large clean area to make very tall creations. I personally would have wanted the surface to be like 20 blocks myself so you can do tunnels and basements, but I get the design decision made by Jeb.

I'm sorry but I think super flat is really useless. Someone told me to use normal worlds if I wanted some of the features that superflat lacked. Guess what? There is no reason to use super flat now.

Superflat is for large builds in creative mode. It also makes for some tough survival if you play with villages turned on.

Sure it is for creative but it is on level 5/6 thats make it useless.
If they make it on level 60-65 and increase the high then it is the same and you can make something in the underground :wink.gif:
Those were my thoughts. Superflat could be at 64 or even 32 and the height limit could be raised. In early pre-releases we got a taste of larger world heights and it would be great for a Creative Superflat map.

A few patches ago. we didnt even have creative, all you guys are doing are complaining about this amazing creative feature. What if we didn't have it at all? is that better?
They have been working on height limit stuff for months, if you want the height limit raised for your structures go get a freaking mod.

I think I will just get a mod that flattens my world at a certain level and have fun that way.
Pre 1.8: "Waaah we want Creative Mode add it waaah"

1.9/1.0: "Waaah it's too hard to build big things give us flatmaps waaah"
1.1: "Waaah we want better flatmaps waaah"
Seriously, people. Why don't you stop complaining about what you don't have and just enjoy the game.

It's not meant for survival, it's meant for testing in creative mode with the ability to build very tall structures. It is perfect for the purpose it is meant to serve.

You could also replace all grass with, say, iron blocks while your at it to prevent respawns.

Disgruntled player claims that map-type made for use in creative mode is no good for survival mode.
