I think I like this change however there's one problem - it takes ages to get to my Nether Fortress because I'm attacked every thirty blocks by Pigmen, Ghasts don't help either.
It seems that Pigmen's range is longer now, I get hit quite often when jump critting and there was no problem before.
IMO the best solution would be to make Pigmen unable to spawn near torches - we would have our railways (it's really irritating) and safehouses free of them while they would normally spawn everywhere else.
While I welcome tougher mobs, I can no longer AFK in my house to grow netherwort, chicken eggs, mushrooms, trees, ect.
