The title says it all, but what do you think they should drop? Or should there be like reputation points or should all villagers become agressive if you kill one of them? Leave your opinions! :biggrin.gif:

The ones with roles who aren't "average testificates" should drop iron ingots or gold ingots With a texture pack you can make it look like they're dropping coins

You know how all the zombie pigman attack when you hit one? And how passive mobs run away when you hit them? Combine that! All the Npcs run away from you if you kill one, (though if guards are added then they would probably attack) but indivually each attacks once their under 50% health.

Saying that these villagers have AI of any level is like throwing a rock and claiming that you have given the rock AI. Just because something moves, does not mean it is intelligent.

they hop around and are capable of recognizing and looking at the player. no different then passive mobs before they were told to panic.
villagers are more dumb, ugly and boring than any other mob for now...I think the dumb and boring part will get fixed tho

IMO, testificates are a waste of time. They look like Squidward, which is utterly ridiculous. Notch, should have done something more useful, inestead of creating retarded looking AI who do nothing. Well, that's just my opinion.

I this is one of the best ideas so far! It could be like a small pop up in the HUD teling you your rep and if there was a mob near (10-15 blocks) the village. :biggrin.gif:

they should drop nothing the only things you can steal should be wheat from the farms and everything else done via trade.
Nahh it would have almost no point, if they have things to trade and you kill them you should be able to pick them up. For example, if you kill the guy that smiths things he should drop iron ingots, diamonds etc. :tongue.gif:

Well that's stupid.

It really gets on my nerves that a lot of people apparently don't get for whatever reason is that the current NPCs are 'test' NPCs...the real ones will have some kind of a point I'm sure.

I hope they just drop a few random everyday items like some dirt or cobble, seeds, food etc depending on what their job is. Maybe rarely they drop goods like Iron or Gold ingots.
