I really don't see a logical use for them besides eating them and potentially getting sick. Something cool though, would be if you buried them (dig two blocks deep in ground, throw a rotten flesh in, cover the top block with dirt again), a flower would grow. Nothing useful, but it would be a nice touch I would enjoy. Other then that, the only thing I can think of is putting them on plants you are growing to make them grow twice as fast possibly. Insta-grow like bone meal is cheap and lame.
It could be used to make a zombie costume (essentially flesh armor) that has less protection than leather, but fools enemy mobs into thinking your a zombie. However, it would lose durability as you moved around because you are wearing decayed zombie flesh.

I like that idea, but i think it should lose durability when in direct sunlight as it burns, instead of just unconditionally losing durability whilst moving. Nice idea :smile.gif:

Ever hear about the guy who almost died from a paper cut he got from a waiver? It's alright though, he signed it.
On the wiki it says you can feed wolves with this and it will not poison them and also in multi-player if you hit someone else they get poisoned, i think thats a bug but the wolf one is good to know.
I truthfully think that they will either stay as food, or they will be used (with ender pearls maybe) to summon the boss monsters being added in 1.9. Like Terraria maybe. :blink.gif: (I know, I said Terraria.)
People seem to be suggesting Rotten Flesh is useless all over. Sure, maybe make it craftable into leather would add a little usage, but I'm fine with how it is now. It's good for a quick snack if you start feeling peckish. If you do get food poisoning (not 100% chance) just eat some more when it starts to get low. So it requires a little micro-management, I don't mind. Worth the stomach ache.
When you eat the raw flesh it gives you 1.5 times the attack power for a short duration but also loses you 1 or 2 hearts.
Or, for each 3 flesh you get it should make a zombie body part. And when you get all parts: head, 2 legs, 2 arms and torso you could make a friendly zombie using the crafting table. The zombie could act like a dog or something.
That Would Be Cool smart idea :Diamond:' to you
"it puts the lotion on it's skin or else it gets the hose again"
you when you die.you can also fly on vultures.
2) Maybe turn a pig into a pigzombie by feeding it.

You sir, are a genius.
2nd I just eat the rotten flesh, it works as food. Eat enough to fill your hunger bar and your health sill regens, poison doesn't last long. no biggie
