Currently, I think the in-thread profiles of the beta forum are a major downgrade from what they were before. I have two arguments to support this: non-centered information, and tiny avatars.
First, lets talk about non-centered information. On the live forum, in-thread profile information (avatar, post count, location, Minecraft username, etc) is centered towards the middle of the profile box, giving it a more professional look. Unlike the beta forum, were the in-thread profile information is bordering the left side. If you don't get what I mean, here is a comparison:
Beta forum:
VS
Live forum:
As you can see, in-thread profile information on the live forum is centered to the middle of the profile box, opposing the beta forum, in which the information is on the left border, giving it a utilitarian look. So, I recommend having the in-thread profile information centered to the middle of the profile box like in the live forum.
The other thing you can see in the picture is that avatars in the beta forum are noticeably smaller than in the live forum, which is why this and many other threads feel they should be enlarged.
