The loadtimes seem to be kinda slow, but all-in-all I like how everything looks and feels. However I got spammed with several "You've earned a new forum title!" notifications. I'll keep looking around for a bit and I'll post any bugs I might find.
Slow? You must have a pretty good computer that was running good with the original forum but somehow got bogged down with the new forum because my computer is a piece of bleep and it runs better on dis forum and the smilies are easy to access going completely off topic my attention span is so short
It is slower than the old forums and scrolls slower.
in what way is the scroll slower? We don't do anything to the scroll, if you can provide a description or steps to reproduce we can take a look and fix.
Quite disappointing and if I am forced to use another browser just to post I will not post any longer.
We'll do whatever we can to make the site available to everyone! We don't want to exclude people because of their browser choice. Any info you can provide will be super helpful. Thank you!
i havent had any slowness issues other than my terrible internet but for the most part its not laggy at all. it scrolls smoothly, the text editor posts fast, and its much faster at going to the profile
I can confirm some delay while scrolling in IE 8 on Win XP SP 3 but it only seems to happen while scrolling with the mouse wheel. O.o
I don't see any issues on other web browsers on the same OS ( Opera, Firefox, Chrome, Safari ) The load times seem to be fairly acceptable for all of them with Firefox being the fastest at rendering the site.

Tis far better to be a witty fool than a foolish wit.
Well, on the old forum I sped things up by using a plugin to block social network things (Twitter and Facebook buttons, etc.) and that made it load as fast as YouTube or any other site. I haven't done anything like this on this version of the forum though, and I don't think I'll need to. Compared to the old forum (before I blocked things) it is definitely faster. I should have accounted for that in the first place I guess.
I use Opera version 12.xx with the Presto rendering engine - one of the reasons why I use it is because I can magnify the pages to make them easier to read so I don't have to sit right directly...
For me, I like using white and light grey more that the light blue here. When I do use light blue, I add more green.
Both are easy to read for me, but maybe my screen is darker/your screen is lighter.

What browser do you use? We can take a look at that too!

Things are better when they're things.
