Hey everyone, for those of you who know about the ComputerCraft mod, I have been working on a program for around 5 hours now and decided to show what I have so far. What I made is an Operating System(OS) that does a lot of different things with more to come. Also I made all of this 100% by myself, no copying and pasting of code or anything. So practically it is a computer inside of a computer inside of a game and this is what it does:
Also here is a link to my channel which has another video up of a game I showed in the video above. But if you guys had some feeback, that'd be great!
Hey sabinno! Yeah I don't even play on Omega anymore, hardly play on any servers. Anyways, I didn't know where else to put it but this mod does allow for the use of redstone so I thought I would just fit it in here for now.
I suppose for now it would belong here, I can't think of any other place it'd belong (aside from Discussion, but good luck getting popularity there =P ).
Because it is only possible by using a modified minecraft. This forum is for vanilla redstone. :/
Aside from all the people who use Zombe's modpack, Too many items, or Redpower. This mod is a new addition to the family, and I eagerly await to see this OS when it's completed. The next step would be to create a full computer from redstone that would be capable of handling an operating system without taking 14 days to press a button or have everyone on the server standing 300 blocks apart just to render the data.
I think that this is an incredible step in Redstone.
Dude. Post a download link or add a type-in for the source code. I need this NAO!
Also, work some more on that game you showed in the video. I want games for this computer mod!

its not a mod, its merely a bit of code written for the computer craft mod.
Although having this (when its completed) as a separate item for computer craft would be cool.

When i said 'computer mod' i mean computercraft, which I have. All I want this for is to havefun with the computer. I still want whatever has been completed NAO.
Used to code in Lua, I saw this and then ran over to my library, got my old Coding in Lua book, and read it cover to cover, and now letters and a blinking underscore are my only sources's of entertainment today. Very impressive, 9.9/10, I am very impressed, I would give it a 10, but there is no source code or link D:
could you do a tutorial for lua, hold on imma check you channel... (moments later) Yeah I couldn't find one so if you could do that it'd be swell. for you!!!!

Omega sometime?
OT:
Cool, it's quite amazing but it doesn't exactly belong in RF.
Should be moved to... Eh, does it fit here?
