So I'm sitting here, watching direwolf20's latest SMP video (episode 80) and while he's searching for wool, he comes across his RP2 chest, which is just full of colored paintbrushes. But of course, RP2 doesn't allow you to paint wool with those paintbrushes, making them rather useless outside of pipe color designation.
That's what this mod attempts to fix. Using this mod, you can dye any wool using either a filled RP2 paintcan or paintbrush. Be warned though, painting an entire block of wool may take up more paint than a tube normally would.
Included in this mod is another mod I threw together called Wool Tweaks. This adds a couple features, mainly being able to dye already dyed wool, and being able to clean wool using a cauldron or bucket of water, much like leather armor.
you can color your ic2 cables, so that they wont connect to other colors with an ic2 paint brush. Maybe same use with rp2 brushes. Or the wool thingy (color your wool block with brushes if they are placed) same function for the railcraft "fences" ?
Lol, looks like someone beat me to the punch. I was going to make some super complicated tool to decolor wool and retain the color in buckets, but this is really useful! Oh well...
Negative, Sinnaj, Her prohibitions are on reverse or reengineering. Add-on mods are fully approved (have to be). She is unlikely to support something that is not her code, but it would be stupid for her to argue about someone adding their own voluntary mods that do not break hers.
In the end, everyone plays minecraft with the mods that they want, They play it their own way, even throwing out a mod is not going to force someone to play it differently. Anything that expands the number of things you can do to keep MC fun and addictive is 'A Good Thing®'.
Seriously still going on about this? What are you, her personal police?
1) It does not touch any of her code.
2) It does not use any of her code.
3) It's all my code.
Where is the issue here? All I'm doing here is adding recipes. Just because the items I'm looking for happen to be part of a person's mod, there's nothing wrong with that.

Was actually just thinking that. Not hard to do at all actually.
