I've seen both of these mentioned a lot on the forums and have a few questions on them.
1) Which is better? (in your opinion)
2) What are the differences between the two?
3) Can you use both? or is there a conflict?
4) Will I lose whats on the server now?
With that said, I have a side question.
5) Is it possible to run multiple servers? (a private one and a public one)
I appreciate any help you can provide, thank you.

As PieceofCake said, MCLawl is MCSharp basically. It took MCSharp as a base and added countless features to it, more features than any other server software has. If you use MCSharp, you can use MClawl, it has all the same basic commands, just has more of them. Transferring from MCSharp to MCLawl is as simple as copying your levels and rank texts over to a new MClawl installation, everything is backwards compatible.

MySQL allows us to use about block changes, player information, portals, messageblocks, /send /inbox, etc. MySQL works perfectly fine if you have any inkling of computer coherency. It's a piece of cake to simply run the exe to set it up, remember the username and password, then set it in the properties. Bang. Never have to mess with mysql again.
I think hes talking about my avatar thing, and no, im not gonna remove it.
