Heyo guys, a lot of people are saying I need to be unique it what content I upload to youtube So I thought i'd jump to the forums and ask you guys for some help? If you guys have any ideas that you would like to see on my channel. No matter how much the hardwork that must be put in. Please, please, please submit below. And please stay on-topic. My last post got out of hand :sad.gif:
I play these games (If you have any ides for the games listed):
-Call of Duty
-Halo
-Minecraft
-Team Fortress 2
-League of Legends
Well there's your problem. There are way too many videos of those games churned out on YouTube daily, you need yourself new games.
I understand why you would say that, But as soon as another game comes out the popular commentators quickly scramble to that "New" game before people like me get a chance to make a video about it!
Thats why I was asking if you guys had a Unique idea that I could adapt to my personal channel.
Play retro games, or really cool indie games. The small base that you already have will spread your word across other people, even if it's not something people would ever really look up.

I've been thinking about which section to move this to for a while now and decided that Arts & Creativity is probably the best place for this to go (topic moved to Arts & Creativity).
Well I don't really see why what you're doing is considered bad. Unoriginal yes, but from what I've watched (not much so don't take my word as gold) it's not like your commentary is dead beat boring, which is usually the bigest problem with amateur commentators.
If you want to release videos that are more original, you should steer far away from every game on that list except maybe Team Fortress 2. Even that's not really a good idea. Maybe it's just speculation on my part, but imo, first person shooters, even with commentary, are down right boring as a pile of rocks to watch. Minecraft works if you have an imagination. It's a sandbox game, so there's always something new to show people.
If you want to keep doing FPS videos and you want to be original, you have to find a way to entertain a select audience that won't get the same material from everywhere else. Maybe upload some clown matches where you only use some variant of a goofy setup or technique or something, I dunno.
I do have that team tactical series that is rather unique I am also thinking about starting up a series that breaks down maps and shows some good places to get kills etc. Every game-type everything!

You guys reckon this is unique/
Unique means different things to different people. For instance if you mix jazz and hip-hop you'll create a unique genre, but some wouldn't call it unique. Everything is unique in its own way if you break it down. Maybe it isn't uniqueness that you really need. Maybe that's the only word people can think of to describe what they aren't liking.
But yeah I do believe a tactical break down of maps would be interesting in any game. I also think that if want to attract a wider audience, you might consider changing your name. Pwn152 just doesn't roll off the tongue. Depends on how much you want to sell out vs. how much you care about your own identity. Good luck with that one.

Do some weird indie game like Legends of Yore or Realm of the Mad God. Just remember:
Use a Southern Accent.Edit: Never mind, the accent you have is already pretty awesome.
Keep it up.
agreed <w<
