That hardly changes the fact that this is an extremely childish reaction.
HURP DURP, DRAW PICTURE MUHAMMAD, INSULT MUSLIMS, FEEL GOOD ABOUT SELF
The aim of Everbody Draw Mohammed day wasn't to insult Muslims (although, a lot of the "art" I saw was just utter ****), it was to show that we frankly don't give a **** what extremists say, and that there are too many of us to kill.
Some dudes took it a bit far, did a bunch of racist tripe in paint in about a minute, but some actually churned out some decent artwork. I remember one of Mohammed, Jesus, all the Religious figures, just chillin' and being bros.

HURP DURP, OVER GENERALIZE STRANGERS, INSULT PEOPLE YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT ON THE INTERNET, FEEL GOOD ABOUT SELF
Seriously, you aren't listening. At all. Nobody's racist and nobody's looking for "self-worth". Nobody's trying to hurt anyone else's feelings. Qute the opposite, in fact. You're not raising any points. You're just assuming everyone else is prejudiced and ignoring their responses, because you instantly assume they're lying.
If you aren't trying to learn about our stance, and you aren't elaborating on your own, why are you here? Are you just trying to hurt our feelings? Because that's not changing anyone's mind.
Besides, I thought we had "dropped" this topic over a week ago. If you're going to ask someone else to agree to disagree, you can't turn around and insult them again.
I don't think you really understand how to start a debate. You're never supposed to open on an insult. Keep it civil and calm or stop.
yes but just because some people in the religion are fags and fight about retard things. you find that everywhere yet lo we don't draw **** about them
Yes we do draw "****" about other religions, you just have to look a bit.
Jesus, God, and Satan are all semi-regulars on South Park.
Buddha gets knocked on a lot.
Don't even get me started on Jews.
Really, just look for "religious caricature" or something on Google.
The reason May 21st was "Draw Mohammed Day" is because Muslims threatened to kill the creators of South Park because they showed the Prophet Mohammed on their show. I don't see Christians, Jews, or Buddhists doing that.

Yes, religion generally declines during periods of prosperity. It's a trend that's been evident throughout history. Look at the dust bowl, people were doing Pagan **** like hanging dead snakes around to bring rain.
I know this post is a blatant necroposting, so before I begin I would thank you firstly not to point this out or report it for such means.
Now, for my main point on this. I recently decided to review the history, motives and consequences of the campaign and ultimately found I was wrong. Yes I admit it. I argued against this initial because I thought it was intended solely as hate on an entire religion for the actions of the minority radicals.
However I found it was intended as an attack on the minority radicals solely as retribution for their prior insane abuse of their own religion solely as a means to commit inhumane acts such as murder, using cartoon drawings of the Prophet as a scapegoat.
The knock on affect of such actions was partial death of freespeech globally, including the largely free-spoken western countries, who's media had begun to avoid tender subjects of Islam and religion on a whole. Unfortunately, as free-speech is a means to the progression of us as a race, it means that we took a few steps in the wrong direction by buckling under the pressures of these radicalist threats.
This was wholely an injustice that had to be rectified. Thus, this campaign was born as such. Equally as they had done to us, we were to pressure them. However, instead our means were of humiliation rather than violence. It went to show that we were unaffected by their display of dominance and as a force much larger than them - ultimately caused them to cower from this backlash for their prior actions.
Because this retribution was done through the internet, there was no "one" person, or country, to blame. In plain, you cannot wage war on the internet, and you cannot kill the internet short of destroying the world. Which is a mighty war to wage. Ultimately, we won.
Though I may have been outspoken against it at the beginning, and I apologise my ignorance in the matter, I will now admit I was wrong and I commend anyone who took part in this (as long as their intentions were noble of course).
Also, finally, wish goodwill on Molly Norris. Who surely was a casualty of this campaign.
Uh, if you think this was a silly post then feel free to express this.
Again, I think this necropost was justified but that is down to you/the staff to decide.

I don't see how that's relevant.
