Anyone Want to Start an SMP server? We wont play with any mods, commands, just normal SMP.
We wont give out the IP adresss to anyone, so no Greifers. I would messege you the IP adress.
If more the one person wants to join, to be on the safe side, I,m takeing up to four people to join.

Well, I cant set it up. Thats the main probolom. I,m wathcing Tutorials, but it just dosent work for me. i need to set up a PATH line to JAva or soemthing... proboly be easer if I had A mac or soemthing. So, basicly, I need someone to set it up for me, becouse it dosent work on ym computer. This is my first server, so I,m extreamly confused.
If you can run minecraft, you can run java. Which means you probably already have appended the java bin to your PATH environment variable. So forget that.
What is your internet setup, like "Well, a cable goes from the wall... then it connects to... and finally it..."

Thatss what it is. its eather a Modemto the Router, or a RRer to the wall. probobly Motem to the ROuter to the wall.
Do you know how to access the settings of the modem or the router? And the passwords? If you answered no to either one of these, you can't really set up a server.
